Quirky little cafe oozing charm and character. I love coming here for a lazy Saturday brunch - it’s relaxed and unpretentious and the food is consistently prepared with attention to detail using fresh, quality ingredients. I *am* very particular about my coffee, and although there are other specialty coffee places in Perth that I prefer, I have never been disappointed with the coffee here. <br/>

My two friends and I came here this morning for coffee and toast, sat down at a table and ordered. After ordering, we were asked 4 separate times by different people if we wanted to order anything -- a bit frustrating but initially not a huge deal. <br/>Then, however, we waited 25 minutes for just the coffee and toast we ordered before approaching the counter to ask what was going on. There was no apology from any of the counter staff and one of the girls completely misunderstood and thought we were ordering MORE coffee and said there would be an 8 minute wait, despite her actually approaching our table at one point. Even after telling her were still awaiting our original order, there was still no apology and she just snapped at us to pay. <br/>When we did get our (now takeaway) items, 2/3 food items were incorrect. <br/>Reallyyyy disappointed as it didn't even seem busy, and no one really cared or seemed to know what was going on. We made the situation clear to staff and no attempt was made to rectify.

Wow! What an awesome burger. Tad hungover I was craving a burger. We were in the area and hungry. Figured to try this cosy little place that we always walk past. Bun was tad sweet, patty was quality beef, crispy bacon, tasty mayo/aioli to complete, crunchy lettuce and melted cheese. Every ingredient was perfect and combined made a banging burger. Coffee was nice and smooth. Love the cosy, relaxed courtyard area. Nice service. Great little place.

Monday mornings are bad enough without being offered a plate of rubber bullets (read: scrambled eggs). Accompanied by a lifeless and unseasoned hand full of dry baby rocket as well as 2 pieces of unbuttered toast (the hero of the dish). For a pretty simple order it's really disappointing to see a Perth restaurant in a great location not even trying.

Tasty veggie lunch - easily worth the 20 $☺️ We split the day's roasted vegetable salad and falafel wrap. They were so big we had difficulty to finish! But we did. Gorgeous. 😋 <br/><br/>The staff was excellent- from taking our order to my nosy questions about local living costs. She didn't mind and actually figured few things out for me! Definitely give this a try - this what I call _find_ of the day ✨

Loved the kitsch and cool vibe of this little tucked away lane as we called in for breakfast on a Saturday morning!<br/><br/>We helped ourselves to menus and a table before heading inside to order. I had the 'holmes' stack with a chai latte while hubby had the eggs benny with a latte. Coffees arrived promptly. I loved how the chai was served in a small pot and strainer with fresh spices but perhaps would have liked a larger cup to go with it and for it to be a touch hotter.<br/><br/>Brekky arrived soon after. I was very pleased with the holmes stack - the corn fritter was fresh, nice crispy bacon and a soft poached egg with avo smash and dukkah - couldn't fault it.<br/>Hubby enjoyed his eggs benny but bacon and eggs may have been a more apt name due to the lack of hollondaise (about a teaspoon worth). When it was delivered to the table, the waitress did advise if he would like more to ask (which suggests she knew it was a pitiful amount to begin with) - but really, venturing back inside to ask for more hollondaise while your breakfast goes cold isn't exactly tempting. <br/><br/>Service was friendly, albeit a bit rushed (which was odd as it wasn't slammed) prices average for Perth. Would be interested to see this place in action during when they have live music on!

We popped into Holmes & Co for lunch today. I had the toasted falafel and my dining partner had an item from the special board, a chicken, cranberry and Brie tart. It's not often that I have dessert but I couldn't resist the banofee pie. <br/><br/>My falafel was very dry and I didn't enjoy it much, but omg the banofee pieceas awesome. My dining partner also enjoyed his tart (I had total order envy). The service was pretty good and I liked the vibe of the place.

Located down the lane ways where Wolf Lane is close by, this casual cafe has plenty of seating outside which is perfect for enjoying the morning sun and breakfast. There’s lots to choose from, centring around poached eggs. I chose the Holmes Stack, comprising of a corn fritter, smashed avo, poached egg and a choice of bacon or smoked salmon (I chose smoked salmon). Once you cut into the poached egg it has a nice runny yolk. With the avocado, smoked salmon, dukkah, greens and a dash of hot sauce for some pep, this was a tasty breakfast. I also really enjoyed the chai latte which was delicious.

Went there just for a takeaway coffee, lady standing behind the till didn't acknowledge me at all. I thought she might have been doing something important then walked away from the till still not acknowledging my existence! Luckily there were other lovely staff who took my order and I paid. Turns out the staff are a lot better at customer service than the owner.

Holmes & Co., formerly known as Tiger Tiger, is a laneway coffee bar located on Murray Street. A cafe by day - serving full breakfast and lunch, and a bar by night - serving bar bites, selection of beers, wines and spirits and with a chilled out vibe and live music every Friday. We've been coming here regularly, being our go-to place, it is probably one of the best small laneway bars in Perth. The chicken & avocado wrap from the lunch menu and chicken wings from the bar bites menu are to die for!

Popped in for breakfast this morning, this place used to be Tiger tigers but is under new management. It's one of the nicer spots in the city, tucked away down an alley way. I ordered poached eggs on toast with a side of mushrooms & avocado and the fella got scrambled with bacon. The food was good homely cooking and I like you have the choice of different breads to choose from. Coffee needs a bit of work, it's ok but not the best. They have an old school Nintendo set up in the outside area, was keen to play it but couldn't get it working and when we asked the staff they didn't know how to do it either.
