La Macarena

Food is excellent, with large portions. Chips, salsa, cheese dip and extra hot salsa met us as soon as we were seated. Pickled vegetables were delivered upon request. These will continue to arrive at your table as you finish your the last setting. No extra charge. Waitress was prompt and attentive. They did not pressure you to order or leave upon completion of your meal. I said they as several different people were in our area and all assisting in our experience. They have an extensive menu and neither my wife or myself have ever been disappointed in our meals. This restaurant has been here with current management for several years. It is always busy. I have never waited for a table over 5 minutes. With this being said come for an excellent meal. The booths, tables and chairs are do for an upgrade. Easy on off Interstate 35 at the Perry exit.

I give La Macarena a 5 star rating for the outstanding food and service. Authentic Mexican food that is right off the freeway. The pico de gallo and my guacamole was freshly made. The flavors come through each dish. I am glad we found this outstanding family restaurant. I hope to pass through again someday in the future!

My family came from Ponca city completely excited, we used to go to the Los Americas/Macarena in Osage county. We were unaware that it had opened in a different location. The food was amazing as always. The excitement was short lived however, and I'm not one to complain much. It was short lived because after we sat down we had one waitress take our drink order. I have 6 boys so it's pretty chaotic at times getting them to respond. I felt like this irritated the waitress some. Then when our drinks were delivered it was from a different waitress which barely acknowledged us, one of my boys even thanked her at one point and it was disregarded. When she brought our plates she literally shoved them down in front of us, placed a steak knife right in front of my 1yr old, which he immediately grabbed, and had I not told one of my other sons to move his face, he'd have been burnt or covered in sauce. After our food was delivered our table was never acknowledge again. Never asked if we need refills, if everything was ok, nothing. I watched the other waitress on our side ask her tables several times all of this. A blonde headed lady whom also rang up our ticket and was very kind to us as we exited. She needs to train a few of your other staff. We will be back as we have missed this place so much in Ponca. Thank you for the great food and thank you to lady that exempted great customer service.
