Good but had a fish only and they wrapped it on paper. When I got home the batter came off as it had stuck to the paper.

Good quality and the pies are brilliant! One of the top 100 chippys in the country chips are fab sausages are!

Having recently moved to Penrith this is now my local chip shop, and as it turns out it's the best chippy I've been to in years! Lovely food, not at all greasy, very friendly staff. Plenty of choice on the menu and they're happy to cook to order anything that's not ready. Card payments accepted as well, which is handy.

what an amazing find, fantastic food, friendly cheerful staff and efficient service. We had the large fish, chips and peas and honestly struggled to finish it definitely excellent value for money. Kids had chips cheese and gravy with cumberland sausage which they said the best ever. Definitely the best chip shop in Penrith without a shadow of a doubt.

Found this shop by accident while at local campsite. Got to say best fish n chips I have ever had. As we live in Gosport (281 miles) we can't just pop in!

The best chips I have ever tasted. We had just been to the lakeland birds of prey and looked up the best local chippy. Do glad we went could of eaten 2 lots to myself. Highly recommended.

Fantastic fish and chips. Batter had a good crunch and the cod tasted wonderful. Queuing in the small shop can be quite an experience but well worth it.

A proper old school fish and chip shop. Having stayed in holiday accommodation in the Penrith area, we used this chipshop and we were very impressed with it. The shop is busy which speaks volumes of the quality of the food and service. Portions are huge and great value for money. Only downside was it is very small and a little shabby.

Called in here on our way back to our campsite after visiting shops in Penrith. No parking nearby all residents only parking. Nice food at reasonable price.

Gets very busy with locals despite (or because) of its location away from the main shopping areas. Great quality food, good prices, decent range of standard chip shop fare available. Very 'cosy' almost cramped with very little space for queueing customers. Staff are friendly.
