Had a lovely steak pie with frozen chips. Basically a bowl of gravy with a pastry top. Nice toilets though
Six of us at lunch time on Saturday 6th April. Staff quickly noticed we noticed a bigger table and put two tables together before us before we had even ordered drinks. Food was good portions, good taste, good value. Staff friendly, did not see the ghost.
Good tasty food with very generous portions in a very modern atmosphere. This place could not be described as a traditional style pub. Service reasonably efficient and waiting times show that it isn't a fast food place although not excessive. Prices are reasonable for what you get.
Walking through Penrith and needed a quick meal before our journey home. I Googled this pub as I am fussy about my food. Reviews were good and so we ordered the lighter apetite meal. The fish and chips (£5.50) was beautiful, I can't fault …

Had a lunch with my girly friends and decided to go here. We all asked for the smaller meals, fish and chips and lasagne. It was all really nice. And if they were smaller meals, good job we didnt order full size ones, coz we were stuffed!
