Ihop

Ok, so, it's been a while since I've been to IHOP. Never to this location. They should be the training location! We had about a 15 min wait, but, it was 1030am on a November Saturday. Once we got seated, Daniela promptly arrived & took our order. Stunningly beautiful, polite, got our order perfect. And, was ready for refills on drinks like it was not crazy busy in there (which it totally was). Food was just as pretty as the commercials, & SUPER tasty! If this is Pelham IHOP norm, we'll be back way more often! Thank you, IHOP employees for all that you do! You don't get enough recognition! Y'all ROCK!

My husband & I stopped here for breakfast around 9:30 on a Sunday morning. There was no wait time to be seated. They waited on us immediately after being seated. We placed our orders(we both ordered the smokehouse combo)and they arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Our food was cooked exactly as we ordered it (he wanted his hash browns cooked light, I wanted my cooked a little longer). Our waiter checked on us throughout our meal. It was an excellent dining experience. On a side note: the butter pecan pancake syrup is DELICIOUS!!🥞😋

When we arrived (approx10:15am) we stood at the front desk for several minutes until the manager HAD to break up A conversation that three servers were having so that one could come seat us. WE ordered, all seemed fine. The waitress was nice. She seemed not too knowledgeable of the menu items but, all was accomplished fine. While we were eating (this bothered me the most) we notices one specific waitress with long hair going back and forth to the prep table. There was a round, plastic bowl with a top on it. She would pick up the top, reach in, with bare hands, get something out and eat it. This happened practically every time she passed in and out from the kitchen area. Question: is this the same item used in prepping MY meal? AND What all did she touch before she put her hands in this container? Other than those two points, and the fact that everyone working there (that I saw) was Hispanic, the music was Hispanic, and the employees talked to each other in Spanish meal was good. Even though I didn't go to a Mexican restaurant, it was The "INTERNATIONAL" house of pancakes.

We like IHOP. If there's one in the area we're in, when we're on vacation, we usually stop. This IHOP is special. Mostly because of the waitress we had, who was absolutely outstanding. So good, that maybe on our 1000 mile drive back home, we'll stop again. P.S. I really liked my omelets and pancakes too. Plus we got coffee to go.

This is the BEST IHOP my family has been to. There was 1 lady that was working as the waitress and the cashier for the entire restaurant. I was mentally prepared to have to ask for refills, and to have a long wait, but the experience was the complete opposite. Judy was fast, efficient, and despite a big order all of our food was correct and picture perfect. We never had to ask for anything because she anticipated our needs. The cook was obviously dedicated because the food looked like the commercials. Bring extra $$ for a tip because this waitress is one of the best I've seen.

There were lobby full of customers either waiting for a table or food, but when I came in the staff just looked and rolled their eyes at me, did not give any acknowledge such as good morning, I waited approximately 3 to 5 minutes to for someone to come and speak to me and give me a table, but nothing like that ever happened, so I left. Awful service, especiallycustomer service. There plenty of tables available
