Subway

Subway is one of our favorite places to stop and this one is the best experience we've had! We stopped there for lunch today. They let us know right away that the toaster wasn't working so they couldn't do hot sandwiches or pizza. That was okay with us! There lack of hot sandwiches was easily made up with the amazing and friendly service behind the counter. They were careful to wear masks and and take safety precautions as they served us (it is COVID season). And while that can often make service seem a little distant, it didn't keep them from being very welcoming and friendly. They weren't overbearing at all (for those who don't like to engage as much). But they were quick and attentive. On top of all that, my son said today's was the BEST sandwich he's ever had at a Subway! That's a pretty high bar! I'll admit, it was stellar. Seriously, my son and I like stopping here as we're often in Payson visiting nearby family. But today's visit was exceptional. 😊

Ordered 2 salads, 1 sandwich, 1 potatoe chowder soup. Salads were good. My wife sandwich had a hair cooked into the bread from the old guy behind the counter. When my wife told the lady behind the register, she said, "We'll remake it. Stand at the back of the line". My son and I were almost finish by the time they made it. Then when my wife went eat her soup it was like water and very cold. We just got a refund. The guy that owns this store is super cheapskate. He's always telling his employees to put less fixing on the sandwiches. This store has a high turnover of employees. Its convenient because its attached to walmart, but if it wasn't, they'd be out of business.
