Ihop Restaurant

We came in with a big party less than an hour before close. I don't remember our waitresses name but not only was she so helpful but kind too even though she was probably ready to go home. We had kind of a circus going on. One of my kids threw up and my wife ran him home. They put together a take out order so she could eat as well. I love good service. This gal knocked it out of the park!

I love this IHOP, and I met a really nice girl a few months back who was my waitress. She had dark hair, a couple tattoos and a few piercings and I could tell she was having a bad day. When I said thank you, she thanked me back and was really touched, and said she's been needing it because no one has said that to her the entire day! She's absolutely amazing, I'm just sad I can't remember her name.

4/5 overall. Upon checking in, the hostess was not very communicative. I went to sit down after stating it was just me and my child when she did not communicate that I should follow her. She came back around the corner and said, "Um... follow me. " I felt a little rushed by my server as she tried to take my plate from the table before I could answer her question of if I was done or not. I was VERY PLAINLY in the middle of taking care of my TWO YEAR OLD child. She could have definitely waited for a response BEFORE touching anything on the table. The food has been downsized over the last couple of years. Still good, but the portions are not what they used to be. The atmosphere was okay. As I said, I felt rushed, which in a sit-down place you should not feel rushed by anyone, unless you're being super disruptive. Being a supposed family restaurant, most people who see a child or children under 5 understand that there is going to be some disruption. Mine was not major in any way. There were three other families with infants and toddlers as well. Crying babies, which I understand. Why I was rushed and the other three families were not is not very comforting.

Clean building, friendly staff, good food. My kids loved the pancakes. Burgers are currently a good value because they come with unlimited fries and drink (we did hot chocolate for my drink). Would get the burger again, the price range is $7-$10. I didn’t give five stars because the kids meals did not include a drink and it took a pretty long time for us to get our food. We will be going back though. Excited to have this in Payson.
