Maki Yaki

Cashier gets a negative five stars lol. She was horrible with a nasty attitude. Reason why i would never step foot in that place again. It took for ever, after 10 minutes of waiting to order keep in mind im the only one in line 😂 after i got my food I asked for extra ginger and she got mad and said "i already put in" i said i know i asked for EXTRA ginger. She got so mad like i had just asked for my meal for free lol. That woman needs to be fired asap. On top of that she gave me super market sushi.

4/3/2017 9:15pm Worst experience ever... I just ordered 2 number 26 and a number 6 (26) bento special (6) shrimp tempura Neither one of the bento specials came with there tempura. They gave me brown rice instead of white rice. They didn't give me my receipt or my change. With a mountain of salad I guess to makeup for the missing tempura 😠 I've been going here for years I've never had any issues. But the place is under new management and it's going down hill. I will not be back. Oh yeah to top it off the sushi chef was blowing his nose really loud right by the cash register. And he never washed his hands afterwards 👎👎

what a wonder treat this place is! i have lived in the area all my life and never heard of it. was online looking for somewhere new to try, and it had glowing reviews. I went with a simple Bento Combo with some tempura and sushi, and let me tell you, i was pleasantly surprised with the portion and quality. in comparions to other places similar to maki yaki, they are leaps and bounds better in all categories! the portion was beyond generous, the price was reasonable, the quality was top notch, and the presentation was amazing! will deffinitely become a regular here!

Don't know if it was the owner or just the cashier but, she saw us and continued to talk ok the phone, didn't acknowledge us at all. Then went in the back and was speaking to one of her workers about making some sauce too thick or something and we were still waiting in front of the register for a while and still nothing. I guess she thought we were just window shopping....at a restaurant....genius. I guess when you walk into this place you need to tell them directly that you want to order food or they'll just ignore you otherwise.
