Prawn

I was really disappointed. I convinced my friends to go there after seeing the pictures and reviews. We all had the same opinions about the taste. So here is what we ordered; clam chowder, it was ok but not the traditional taste you expect. Fried calamari, this was regular. The coleslaw was bitter, all potatoes were extra oily and almost burnt. The crab sandwich was the only thing that passed since it wasn't fried nor saucy. And finally their famous lobster tail sandwich was a disaster, it was a caramelized onion sandwich with a bit of lobster, the tastes didn't match together. Saying all that, i should say that the service was really good.

Great Seafood for a great price!!! The staff there is amazing and very helpful. They have an open kitchen which is very cool to see your food being prepared with their steam pot cookers! Also!!!....They have a craft beer and wine on tap that is soon to be coming!!! Can’t wait to grab a bite and a pint!!!!

Good location, great setting, delicious food until I saw the chef put a dirty box on top their French fires while he is preparing food. It's a health department violation. That should never happen in any kitchen with or without customer is looking, in this case I am sitting at the bar counter look directly into their kitchen.

So excited to see Prawn land in Pasadena! I've tried them before in the Grand Central Market location in DTLA and loved the Thai Lobster Roll and Shrimp Salad but this location has a raw bar with oysters -- yum! And clam chowder that's just right -- not too thin and not too gluey. They're inside a cute courtyard down the alley between Gap and MAC. A nice spot to relax from the crowded sidewalks along Colorado.

Superb, splendid Awesome and just plain GOOD! I don't know why I don't come EVERY DAY! The Clam Chowder is THE BEST! Real Clams still in the Shell, tremendous flavor of the soup and seasonings. The Fish & Chips are SPECTACULAR! Finally had the Thai Lobster sandwich and it was remarkable, and I even had the Fried Shrimp and Oyster sandwich equally as good as all the rest. Prices are very affordable and their Service is great too. You will enjoy Prawn and ya gotta love the 1st Seafood item on their Menu above the Bar, hint a great city in the Pacific Northwest! Prawn receives my Highest Rating 5 Stars 😉
