Steak 'n Shake

The food is good. Workers nice. But no one wants to feel ripped off. So when I order two large chills for my sick daughter you can only imagine how mad I was to open the bag and find two kind of small containers, more a cup of chili rather then a bowl... Overpriced as usual. That isn't even the worst when I opened to check it.. Cup is barley half full!!! Are you kidding me?!? 8 dollars for two small half full cups?! Insulting.

Our Burgers were Hot, Fresh and Tasty! Shoe String Fries were a wonderful surprise. And the Shakes, OH MY Goodness!!! The variety of flavors, Soo many, I want to try them all! We did get the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup 😍🎉😘 it was Soo GOOD! I wish I could of given it 5 stars, just one employee messed it up for me - but WAIT!! The Manager, he did quickly step up and Saved the situation with a quick eye and Corrected the error. (which I couldn't believe happened in the first place) For him - 5 🌟s! So, do I recommend Steak and Shake? Yes I do! Will I be going back, most definitely. N'Joy!!

Food was great aside from the grilled cheese ironically, I remember it being awesome back when they had the 2 for 4. Major price increase on the chicken like many other restaurants have had since the pandemic BUT the new Dine In process is great! Completely self serve so you're no longer obligated to Tip which makes up for the price hike, and the new touch screen order system shows you all of the customizations you may not have thought of. The star lost is for cleanliness of the dining area as staff is so busy on the other side making the food there's really not time to do anything else which is expected these days.

Good place for a quick, cheap meal. The fries are thin & on the crunchy side, which I like. The burgers are small & the patties are thin, but you get a burger & lots of fries for only $4. The milkshakes are fantastic & are either $2.99 or 3.99 depending on what kind you get. So if you just drank water you could eat for $4.00. They have kiosks where you order and pay and then you pick up your food at a counter. There is no longer any table service since covid.

Not a fan of the touch screen ordering. If you want to look over the menu and someone else is waiting to order, you feel rushed. They don't seem to have the foot long hotdog anymore. Thought that was what we were getting for my son, but it's a normal size hotdog now. The food and shakes was fine, (obviously except the small dog) So I ordered him another one. This time from my phone, but they have no way of knowing we are already there using the app. Just a FYI, you clear your own table now and leave any plastic on a counter.
