Embers

Embers, a gastro pub in Goa. It is located in Panaji. I must say, Panaji is becoming a hub of some amazing restaurants. I visited like 4 restaurants in Panaji for my food cravings. This place has a huge bar with a number of cocktails to try from. Comfortable sofa chairs and modern interiors. They specialize in British cuisines. Yes the steaks are pretty delicious and they are a must try over here. Few checks Food - vegetarian and non vegetarian Alcohol - Yes Service – Pretty decent Cost – pretty reasonable Seating – huge groups Staff – trained and friendly Some dishes to try: Butter garlic prawns – They were a delight to eat. Perfectly cooked and the butter garlic flavor went pretty well with the prawns. Rechado mackerel – This is the mackerel fish coated in chilli powder and cooked. I know it sounds pretty spicy but trust me; it tastes amazing, if you love spicy food. Just squeeze in Lemon on it and you are good to go Chicken Escalope – This was the best dish i had there. It is basically fried chicken in pepper sauce served with tomatoes and corn. Caramel custard – It was pretty decent. Caramel whiskey sour – Whiskey based cocktail. I am sure you will love it too. It was a new version to the pretty famous whiskey sour.
