I have been going to Sands for years. But this was my first visit for a couple of years as I moved. Food and service was just as good as I remember. I recommend the burger and fries but there are always amazing specials and breakfast is great also. If you ask for crispy fries you actually get crispy fries. One of my favorites in SW MO.

We went on Labor day and it being our first time there. We had breakfast but at noon. So that was a nice plus to get breakfast in the afternoon. The food was great and so was the service. Also the prices was reasonable. We will be going back.

Eggs a little runny and the home fries were not cooked enough. Very hot need better air conditioning. The waitress though are great.

I love this place.
Pretty much everything I have had, has been great. The pies have been great!
The only problem I have is that I have to limit how many dishes I can order as I am unable to consume everything in a single sitting.

The food is amazing and cheap. I actually didn't want to leave a review because it's already packed all the time, but I just wanted to recognize the little old lady server, Allie. She's so sweet and so quick for being "up there in years" and she almost always remembers to bring my order and fill my coffee. I love that the owner hired someone so elderly and sweet!
On a serious note, best place to eat in SW Missouri.

Food is yummy and affordable. Place just needs a good update/cleaning. Walls, chairs, bathroom sticky/greasy. A paint job and more of a theme would be a nice change.

Oh my, I had always heard great things about Sands, but it absolutely exceeded our expectations. Staff was so helpful and friendly and the food.... PHENOMENAL!! We'll probably go back next Saturday!!!!

Not very clean. Like a truck stop cafe. Most we ever spent on food like that. The pie is not that great and it was a very very small and expensive. Our bill for 2 with spaghetti pie and drinks was almost 50.00. Will not go back.
