Still my favorite spot to get sushi. The selection is amazing, the staff is on top of their tables, the staff always says “thank you” and “goodbye” and it’s always very clean. I just love ❤️ Anaba.
Wish I took a picture of my plates because everything is as good as it looks. Highly recommend.

Great sushi place! Good combination of high quality fish with an Americanized sushi menu (More sauces and special rolls).
If you're looking for expensive, authentic Sushi, I'd recommend Sushi Hanada. If you want a mid-priced place that still has good quality, this one is my go-to.

Food is tasty as always. However, the update is for a recent experience. We were missing a $17 roll(Couldn't check before leaving because bags were tied tightly,) Called back when we got home and saw the lack of $17 goodness and after being suggested that I was lying(even after leaving a 20% tip,) the offer for a remake for pickup 30 minutes later wasn't worth it. Can't complain about the food, just caution to people picking up orders to check your food before you leave the store/lot.

Fantastic Japanese Restaurant. Unique sushi rolls and appetizers. Teriyaki and tempura. Everything delicious 😋. Fantastic service. Great atmosphere- some harbor views. We have dined Japanese restaurants all over California. This is the best.

Great food and everything but recently they only offer expensive bottled water. I don't mind paying for tasty, good quality sushi, but the pricy bottled water with no regular tap water as an option is a real discouragement to going there. Hopefully they'll let us bring our own?

Just for credit card user awareness..I don't like it when restaurants skew their tip selection on the Ipad vs the actual bill tipping suggestion. Take a look at your tip suggestions vs the Ipad reading if you pay with card. A lot of restaurants started to this recently. Food is good though.

Fisherman's sushi, Genami, and Kitanoya are in my opinion, up to par, if not better than Anaba. For what it is, the sushi seems overpriced. The sushi wasn't exactly anything special. The water served is bottled (to collect more income), the miso soup tasted like watered down ocean water, and the service was meh. Sure, the sushi tasted good and seemed fresh, but that's one of the standards in the sushi world.
