I don't particularly like Heart & Crown, but I do like Peter Devine's. I can't speak much for the food, but just to have a drink or two in the little patio area outside Heart & Crown (which is essentially Peter Devine's) is quite nice and the service is also very friendly.

Went for an Irish wake on a Tuesday. For those of you who have never attended an Irish wake, it is a gathering of friends and family to share stories and mourn together the loss of a loved one. In Ireland, people gather in pubs so a wake in a local pub is fitting.<br/>Well the folks at Devine's did a bang-up job. The gourmet sandwiches and fruit, cheese and the other usual suspects were fresh and plentiful. The staff was respectful and discrete. Thought I'd give a shout out on here because others may be looking for an appropriate venue for their own event. The space holds about 30 seated, and is adjacent to the other pubs which are collectively known as the Irish Village. They make a good spivey Caesar and aren't too shy with the whiskey. I will go back and try it for dinner on the patio.

I had the albacore tuna nicoise salad. The eggs were overcooked and probably sitting for a WHILE, the flavor was lackluster and the tuna was TERRIBLE!

For lunch on this particular occasion, I had sat myself on the patio of a nearby Vietnamese restaurant but, after perusing a singularly uninspiring menu, and finding the outdoor dining far too hot, I wandered up the street to this place where the patio was nicely shaded and not too busy. I didn’t know it right away, but Peter Devine’s is actually part of the same establishment as the Heart and Crown situated right next door, although, as my waiter informed me, their menus are somewhat different…
