Crispy Cod

My mum has always rated this fish and chip shop. Intact most of Orpington High Street seems to rate them, too, lol. I can see why. The portions are great. The fish is a generous size, and the chips dont taste like they're cooked in stale oil. I ordered chicken and chips. I didn't think the chicken would taste as good as it did, but the seasoning was lovely. I will definitely order from them again. Lovely staff, too.

Loved the takeaway so we came back for a dine in service. Friendly staff, food still as good, fried chicken is better than KFC. Unfortunately, curry sauce didn’t make the cut. It was not completely dissolved hence too watery. And they should have proper tartare sauce to go with that great piece of fish. The packet ones are just a no-no. Would we come back? Yes

OK First things first this is one of the best multi food takeaways that I have had the fortune to visit. The staff have great knowledge and passion for the products that they sell, service for takeaway is within a reasonable period of time(usually no more than a minute). The portions are massive and for the money I had double batterd sausage and regular chips (although there would have been plenty for two people) and it only cost £6 bargain these days. Now the eat in side was well kept all the empty tables were clean and the floors were cleaned no sticky patches. If you are in the area please go and visit this restaurant/ takeaway I personally can't wait until I'm back in Orpington to visit here again.

Crispy cod lives up to its name. A really light crispy crunchy batter covering large good quality fish thats fried in clean oil. Ive lived nearby for many years but never tried them. This is far the best i know for miles around. First place i visit when back from holiday. Takaway sit in and delivery service available. Called in again with a friend same amazing quality quantity.
