Dickey's Barbecue Pit

Horrible experience. First time at Dickeys. Will probably never go back. Restaurant was freezing cold, food was not even hot, my kids where shaking. We had a groupon and the guys behind the counter took 15 minutes and weren't even able to figure it out. The one was so stoned out of his mind, he just kept staring off into space as he stood there and did nothing. They never asked us how things were. Horrible experience. The sauce area was a filthy mess. I wish I had a picture.

Went there yesterday (Sunday), and was pleasantly surprised. Great Food, Great BBQ Sauces, and Fantastic Service. Paid about 11$ for a ton of food! To top it off, kids eat free on Sundays, and the have free ice cream cones! Hours later we were still talking about how good the food was! I will definitely be coming back.

I walk into the restaurant at 5:10 PM and that was as good as it got. "Sorry we are out of lettuce for Caesar salad, coleslaw, Smoked Turkey, ice and yes the infamous Yellow Cups." My son's brisket sandwich was a giant ball of brisket fat. I was on the way to a meeting and had to buy a cliff bar At the gas station after we left to hold him over since he left hungry. The sandwich had no pickle and onion ring. And to top it off the BBQ sauce was cold. There is no way the meat is being held to a correct tempature because the food was cold right when I sat down to a dirty table. I've eaten at this restaurant quite regularly for a couple of years now. and it has just gotten worse and worse over the past year. Don't go to this restaurant it's a disaster waiting to happen!

I was looking to get some extra food options for guest over the Christmas holiday and I was looking at the dickey 's website and decided to get some ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. The online ordering was super easy and user friendly. I quickly placed the order and prepaid online, scheduled the order for the date and time and when the day came I simply walked in and it was ready to go. Made it easy for us to have some extra dishes and the meal was great with the tastey meats. Thanks guys!

The food at this location was mostly good but not anything spectacular. What I want to stress about my visit here was how dirty everything was, notably the floors, tables and chairs. It was disgusting. Dried sauces and dirt probably go against health codes but what do I know. Business at this particular time was very slow for the three employees who seemed so overwhelmingly enthusiastic to be there and while my family and I were the only ones there said employees didn't seem like they wanted to be there at all and chose to hide in the back instead of come clean up the mess.

Dickies is consistent and a safe BBQ place to eat. All of there food is not bland per say but it is not great. They don't really distinguish themselves with unique and risky spices. I don't expect to love every dish that I have when eating BBQ. I expect to cringe on occasion and gasp while thinking "woah, that's not my style". That kind of risk taking truly distinguishes your BBQ and for my palette means there is normally a handful of dishes that I really am impressed by and promote. Dickies is at its best, not bad, and maybe that's okay.
