Outback Steakhouse

I'm torn between a 3 and 4 Stars. We haven't been to an Outback in a long while. My main issue was the Server, she was polite & accurate with our order, but lacked that Customer service by checking on us. She asked once, how everything was, we only had Bread & Salad at that point. Never asked if we needed anything, no refills on our drinks. The Salad (took a bit to get it) came out drowning in dressing, I could only eat the top layer. Hubby's plate was perfect, Filet cooked beautifully! I also ordered the Steak & Mac n Cheese bites, please don't include Steak in the name because there was NONE. They were ok, a little too crispy for my liking, but definitely loved the Mac in them. I'd probably order them again. May not return so soon again....

Ordered the filet mignon. Looked more like they had two extra pieces of meat laying around and combined to make a steak half the size of what it should have been. Offered me a gift card but seriously why would I want a gift card to get this kind of "steak" again? Unacceptable. If you eat here just be aware this is what you might get. It is sad when a baby fry is almost as thick and long as your steak.

If I give it a zero, I would. We ordered online to pick up as take out. My husband's burger looked like something I could have picked up at McDonald's and there was brown lettuce on the burger. They did not put the steamed vegtables in my order and they did not include butter for the bread. Also the steak looked really small, so I got out my kitchen scale and discovered it was only 3.8 oz instead of the 6 I ordered. The manager is sending me gift cards for the amount of the order, but I will not return to this location any time soon.

Great service and a clean atmosphere. We had a birthday party gathering this past weekend and everything went great. They took our cake and held it for us until it was time to serve it. Our server John was fairly new but had great service skills. The managers were also on top of their game. Quentin came by to check on us and even tracked down a lighter I had forgot for the cake candles. Food and service was great. Thanks for taking care of us.

Good food at competitive prices. Our server was very helpful and friendly. Her timing was spot on in terms of letting us finish our appetizer before bringing the salad or meal. We enjoyed our appetizer, steaks, sides, and drinks. Everything was cooked to order and tasty. Doggie boxes were needed due to the quantity of food- and our pup was pleased! Outback offers consistently good food and value. We'll be back.

The steak and service was great – everything else left a bit to be desired. Our waitress was great and friendly. The bread was great and tasted fresh. However, my water was very off. To the point where I couldn't drink the water. Not sure what it was, but I feel there's probably a few pipes and filters that are years past due. After pointing it out, my wife also mentioned the soda being a little off. On top of that, several pieces of silverware weren't the cleanest they could be – like, stuff still stuck on the dinnerware. Thankfully, we were able to mix around the three sets we got and found some not so... gross. The bathrooms. Well, they weren't a truck stop, I guess. The steak was great. The portions were for the salad and the sides were mediocre at best. I mean hey, everyone is trying to make things smaller and keep the prices the same, I guess. For the area, this is an ok steakhouse. Personally, I'd prefer Longhorn over it. And even then, I'd suggest just spending the extra hour and going to Texas Roadhouse in Columbus. Even in gas, you'll come out more full and an overall enjoyable dinner experience.
