Roadouse 97

I'm amazed how wrong my wife and I found some of the negative reviews on another site. We also stayed at a nearby hotel and we were just passing through, with no association to this restaurant. We found it difficult to believe a restaurant could mess up a beef brisket dip as bad as described on another review... so we ordered it. Yes, it was not quite the traditional beef dip. We actually found it "exceptionally" flavorful and delicious (including the au jus). For those that love a beef deep.... You MUST give it a try. DO NOT let one person's opinion scare you away from this experience. Sorry we forgot to take a photo of the food. We were more focused on our meal. Additionally... we liked the ambiance, (though the light blue left us thinking of a baby's bedroom). The galvanized steel interior, with the other colors, were great. Last... The one photo I did take was of their free WiFi password.... AWESOME 97 Roadhouse.... Very commendable! Gina was very good also. My diet soda was replaced before running out twice and she kept checking on us as needed.

Stopped in for dinner at around 8:30pm and was explained to us that we would have a 35 to 40 minute wait. They had just had a 20 person party seating and the kitchen would be backed up that long. No problem I thank the waitress for the honesty. We were on a tight schedule and couldn't stay as we were traveling. I am bummed about not getting to try the yummy looking dishes on their menu. Hopefully we will be able to get back there and eat.

The chamber of commerce meets there once a month at noon there are typically around 20 people. the waitress is Is phenomenal!! I've been a waitress as well for 20 years and She tops the list as one of the best. My husband and I also have gone to dinner there a couple times. The food is good, great portions, and the prices are typical.

Good, and better each time we go. Service is great. Food is great. My wife gets the mushroom burger and never regrets it. I like the Roadhouse burger and love the beef & pork burger. Their shoe-string fries are great with the season salt, my wife loves the sweet potato waffle cut fries. We go 2 times a month at least, also a great place to meet and hang with friends.
