Crazy Good Eats Barbeque

There is always great bbq to be had. this is one of those local hidden gems. This place should be alot busier than it is. Wife had half chicken Wednesday special. It was browned and cooked to perfection. She got one huge breast one leg, one thigh, and one wing. I had my go-to sausage sandwich with smoked brats. I have troubles getting brats I smoke to be this good and flavorful I also had a side of fries. These fries. They season them so well. They are amazing this place never disappoints. Dine in our call ahead and pickup... Always hot and yummy. They now have their liquor license and serve all the cocktails you can imagine.

Great food! Ordered the sampler, chicken, brisket, pulled pork, sausage, ribs plus a corn bread slice and 1 side. I got the fries. Everything was really good and ribs amazing! Wife got burnt ends which tasted so moist and good. Portions were generous so we had some for lunch next day. Staff was great, mgr came to check on everyone and bartender very polite & helpful. Went on a Saturday and they had a live band started at 5.

Big fan of this wonderful local spot. Legendary dine in, takeout, and catering. My current favorite is the Lone Star Power - but be sure to check in as their menu is updated from time to time. The potato salad is lights out by the way! They just added the bar, which includes an incredible selection of whiskeys for a shop this size. Be sure to say hi to Bruce and Maggie!

Enjoyed a nice BBQ lunch with a good friend to celebrate his 65th birthday. Our first time here and it’s apparent they have a very loyal following as several fellow diners gave us good advice on what to try. The sandwiches are large and tasty and I enjoyed the fries. We both said we would return to enjoy the outdoor dining patio.

Fair BBQ. Great service. Fun sauces. They have three sauces to meet your meat. I had the smoked chicken, it was tasty and tender. My wife had the rib platter. Fresh salad and sweet corn bread. The ribs were a little dry but still tasty. Easy in and out with easy to get to drinks. They could use a PA system to announce orders. If in town again, we would come back. Why? Mercia!

Our Whiskey and Kilt group got 25 Scotch eggs for our event at Fireside Cigar in Olathe last night. It is the second time we got them. They were one of the highlights of the evening!! If your group wants something different, these smoked cherubs are the trick. Thank you so much for having them ready on time.

Food was great and the company was just as good! I got the Carolina Splendor and it was wonderful. I love how the pork wasn’t completely shredded but had more hunks of meat and plenty of it. My girlfriend got the Certifiably Delicious and she loved it! We sat at the bar and had a very fun conversation with Bruce and Maggie. Both are very interesting people and are a big reason we will be going back again and again. Thanks again!
