Frisky Brewery

We really enjoyed ourselves. Great beer made onsite! Our favorites were Firestone Walker Luponic Distortion and the Frisky Pale Ale. The restaurant has so many interesting features with a fabulous bar. Party upstairs or downstairs or enjoy your meal at one of the tables or booths. We ordered chips, queso & salsa (Watch out, the salsa is hot!), a stone-fired pizza (nice, crispy crust), and Alfredo The Dark pasta with chicken or shrimp (you'll need to experience the dark side for yourself 😉). All were delicious! Frisky Brewery opened 3 years ago and was closed for 8 of those months due to city ordinance CoVID restrictions. Go take a gander for yourself. You won't be sorry. Lisa, the owner, personally attended to our table. She has the sweetest voice and wants nothing more than to make your visit one of the best.

We sat at the bar rail the service was good the food came out quickly. My other half had the Cuban burger it was sizable and tasty the pulled pork on it had a good sweet heat. I had the chicken fried chicken. The breast was a bit smaller than I expected and I opted for the jalapeno gravy. I would probably go for the standard gravy if I went for it again. It has a little spice on the back end but is an overall sweet flavor which would be better with fries instead of the potatoes or chicken fried chicken. I got to sample the fries they had a light crispy batter on them which gave them a nice crunch while maintaining the integrity of the potato inside. Overall good experience.

Absolutely awful. The bar is inundated with fruit flies, very dirty and unsanitary. The bathroom is beyond disgustingly filthy. We were going to eat here, but couldn't fathom having a meal in these conditions. The bar service was slow, and unfriendly. We had just driven 350 miles and were needing a meal, but just couldn't eat here. Never again!!

Update: Staff doesn't know their own menu. One of the cooks is very very rude and admits no wrongdoing. The SECOND time they messed up my sister's salad, it was missing 7 ingredients. It took an hour and a half for me to get my pepperoni pizza. Waitress was very nice about everything and checked on us frequently. My first experience: Their French Dip was the best I've had in Midland. Their fries were really good too. Also, they have a solid selection of IPAs. Second visit was great as well. My friend said their pulled pork sandwich was pretty decent.

Decent craft beer, first time I went the food was pretty good, second time got these onions. I'm not picky so I removed them and let my server know. First thing I hear is 'freezer burn', I've never seen freezer burn like that and who freezes onions? They gave me a discount and a free beer. Thinking about it later, I got the special which came with a beer so I actually got charged for that second beer... Maybe just a bad night but this is a lot all at once.

I read through a lot of mixed reviews for this place and was honestly worried. At first. Michael the bartender was our server and was on top of his game. The food was everything we wanted and then some. We needed a wheelbarrow to be rolled out in after eating all that, but it was sooooo good! Too bad there's only five stars to give as a rating.

My husband had to find someone to take our order, it took forever to get our meal. The meal was warm in instead of hot! Everyone at the bar was waited on, so why was our food late getting to us. We were the only table that needed waited on! Then my husband had to go get our drinks because the waitress never came to check on us! When she did show up the damage was already there!!😠 Nevertheless we won't be back!
