Blue Wagyu

I have friends that love this place and will give it 5 stars every time. However, after several visits, I'm not there yet! Burgers are never frozen home grown beef and you can taste it. Warning, always get the 1/2 pound portion as they make the burger from scratch when you order. Unless you like well done, the smaller portion is too skinny to cook successfully any other way. Obviously the beef is the best product here. Meatloaf is outstanding but I do feel the stakes are very overpriced. $63 for a Ribeye? It really is not so special for that price. Service is hit and miss. Some of the servers could use a little more training when it comes to "Attentiveness"! However, overall its acceptable and all the staff are polite and friendly - they do do their best. Avoid the sprouts! Deep fried, hard and dry. Good selection of homemade deserts. My biggest complaint? This place is a little noisy if it gets more than 50% full. Due to its open plan setup, hard furnishings and décor, sound is not absorbed by the environment. Overall, pleasant night out (better during quiet periods). Has its own unique character. Good people. Quality food but a little overpriced.

The food quality was excellent! The blackened Mahi sandwich was the perfectly cooked and the burgers were tasty. We will try one of the wagyu steaks on our next visit. Something unique happened at the checkout counter where we were informed that tipping was voluntary,cash only, because the owner believes in paying their staff a living wage!

Honestly we found this restaurant by pure chance. Saturday night we went looking for a great hamburger and doing a Google search WAGYU popped up and we just happened to be with blocks of it's location so off we went. The acting Hostess had us with seconds and off to a table we went. This is by far one kf the absolutely nicest looking establishments we've entered in Ocala Florida and that in itself was a huge relief for us... Within seconds of seating our Server named Rachel approached us with a huge smile and one of those boy did you stumble in the right place attitudes.... Rachel asked if we have ever eaten in the restaurant before to which we replied no.... Then She begin telling us the Owners were the Ranchers whom raised beef imported from Japan and raised eating specialty diets with no medications, hormones ect..... The beef at this restaurant is FANTASTIC as is everything else we tried including the Blueberry Bread Pudding!!!! Holy Cow .... I'll not tell you everything but I will tell you that if you are reading this and if you are searching for somewhere new and Good get in your car, truck motorcycle or whatever it is you travel by and go try this place.... We will be back again!!!

I must say we went to this restaurant because a friend told us about it and I must say the staff and owner were very nice. The menu was very good so we had a steak sandwich and the pizza I have to say it was delicious and very different from what I thought it would be I would recommend to anyone who wants a very unique meal not cheap but well worth it. Sorry no pictures I ate it to fast😂

Absolutely Fantastic! Wow, I can not give a more positive review on this place. The owner Mary was an absolutely amazing, energetic, and all around positive & funny woman. You can tell her she is very passionate about the business. We wish we were hungry enough to order one of the steaks they looked absolutely amazing. And the nice couple across from us confirmed that the fact. we did world war 1 affect burgers and I have to say was the best burger I've ever had. The other than that came out with an order of bread pudding and explained to us her special recipe.It was the bomb. This was a wonderful experience and when we are in the area will definitely be back again.

If your looking to try something different, stop in , the roasted peppers seasoned with smoked salt/pepper & fried zucchini appetizers were very good, I had the salmon with sweet potato wedges & asparagus with sliced bacon, my husband had the hamburger a good size burger!, sadly we were too stuffed for Dessert! Definitely worth a second visit, want to try the pizzas next time

My ribeye was amazing and our Brussels sprouts were the best I've ever had! My husband's wild caught salmon special with curried sweet potatoes and beets was also excellent. The blueberry bread pudding with vanilla custard is well worth saving room for! Everyone was very nice and attentive. We enjoyed our interaction with Mary, the owner.

Wow!!! We heard about this place and their incredible burgers. We just had to try it. We were NOT disappointed. From the moment we entered the staff made you feel welcome. They we're quick to answer any questions. We later found out one of our servers, Mary, was one of the owners. She made us feel so welcome and appeared the same with other guests. She has a great sense of humor. The food was nothing less than perfect. I rarely say that, but it really was. Everything is fresh and made there. It was prepared exactly as we asked and then Mary and other staff continually checked to make sure it the same. For what we got, I really felt the price could not be beaten. This is the best burger I have ever had...can't wait to return!
