Tacos Oscar

Nope! 👎For the hype and wait, these tacos so weren't worth it. The quoted wait time was 20 minutes, but we had to wait 55 minutes for 6 tacos (as did everyone in front of us - seriously, how hard is it to just give an accurate wait time). They only offer a cheap, unheated parklet for everyone to wait and eat under. This place felt so pretentious and over-priced for what they serve. Glad they have options for vegans, but we won't be coming back here for regular tacos.

Tiny taco spot with several solid veggie options! We really enjoyed the tostada with sisil pak and the broccoli taco - both were extremely flavorful and had a great variety of textures. Definitely check out all of their food options - everything is worth trying! Warning: their habanero salsa is quite spicy 🔥:)

Great place for "California Fresh" type of tacos. As others have said, if you're looking for authentic Mexican juicy meat tacos, this isn't that type of taco joint. But if you're into Californian cuisine, especially if you're a vegetarian, then the food here is great. And if you're not, they have at least one non-veggie dish as well (though I haven't tried it). They rotate their menu frequently, which is posted on a chalk board outside their window. I think what I enjoyed most about my dishes were the salsas that topped the dishes. Tostada de jitomate (5 out of 5): Tostada with warm roasted vegetables. The almond and olive salsa topping were what made this a 5. Charred broccoli taco (4 out of 5): Nice roasted veggie taco, but didn't have a nice salsa like the others. And the radish, while beautiful, really doesn't add any flavor. Calabacitas taco (5 out of 5): Summer squash and pickled onions. The cashew basil jalapeno crema was what made this a 5.

I have to add yet another 5 star review!!Genuinely a place that the reviews REALLY are above 4.6 and not fake! A truly tasty place for people who are vegetarian or have a gluten intolerance! The broccoli taco is outstanding and always get the tostada if you can which they change frequently (my fav is the romaine Caesar they are working some magic into the masa…) also don’t forget to order the salsa and chip without the chips (just that salsa)! I just find that salsa is the best on their tacos but they don’t give that one to you when you ask for salsa! (And for the meat lovers their pork taco is da bomb!)
