Munch

I absolutely love Munch and its variety of vegan food choices. My husband and I dined in this week, and I was immediately impressed when Emma checked our vaccination cards and IDs; it was reassuring to know the restaurant was following local protocol. I highly recommend this healthy restaurant! (Tip: it's still cash only.)

While the food is tasty the prices are ridiculous. I went today and order the nacho. It’s a vegetarian/vegan restaurant that only has dairy sour cream. They don’t offer non dairy. Then to my surprise once the bill came, I found out I was charged an additional $3 for vegan cheese at the vegetarian/vegan restaurant. One small regular size nacho cost me $17.50. I also ordered a vegan shake that cost $10.45. I’ve been to this establishment before the overall inflated prices and they were expensive then. Today confirmed that I would not be returning. I felt robbed and not good at all about paying almost $30 for a regular size nacho and milkshake.

Food that pleases the eye and the palate! The ingredients are so fresh and you just feel good eating a meal at Munch. I am not a vegetarian, but I didn’t miss the meat. I love the restaurant’s location on Marion Street because taking the option to eat outside is like eating in a little sidewalk café in Paris or even Québec City. The staff was very friendly and you get a very nice sized portion of food for your money. It is cash only, but there’s an ATM inside for a fee of $1. Lots of reasonably priced paid parking around.

I got the hippy hemp salad, and my mother got the beet burger, both of which being absolutely delicious. We ordered the ginger smoothie drink and the mushroom polenta as well, and it was amazing. I will definitely be back! Edit: I came back! Got the mushroom polenta again, the beet burger salad, and the Mediterranean platter this time! All of which being amazing. The green smoothie was delicious as well 💚

Excellent Friendly Service. Currently on a 9 day juice cleanse that requires Vegan meals only. I let the hostess know this was all knew to me. From her recommendation I tried the Guru Gyro which was delicious. I went back today for the Pulled "Chicken" Poblano Burrito which was Jackfruit. It was just as delicious. The chocolate chip cookie was a great treat has well. I plan to go here more often. Side note I am not a Vegan and really enjoyed the food here. The atmosphere is great as well.
