There was a period where the old manager kinda gave up on the store and never opened it. It wasn't very good then, but now there's new management and she seems to be handling herself very well. The staff is friendly, food is as good as it gets for a "fast food" joint. Easy lunch.

In Subway you know what to expect as far as food and prices. The day was cold; so coming into a warm place where people preparing the subs are always kind and smiling was nice. Probably the only thing missing was a nice cup of hot coffee.

Just wanted to give a shout out to the guy who made my sandwich today 9-16-22 around 10:30am give or take. I don’t typically write reviews, but this was by far the quickest experience I’ve ever had in a subway; and I’ve been eating at subways for years. I didn’t catch his name, but this guy definitely deserves a raise or promotion. I walked into the shop with 4 people in line in front of me, and walked out faster than I ever have in the past at times when there’s only 1 person in front of me. This guy (bigger dude with tattoos) was crazy efficient, polite, and did an excellent job making the sandwich. Hope his good work gets noticed and pays off for him.

I stopped at Subway in Oak Harbor, WA for lunch. I ordered a six inch Turkey sandwich and a diet soda for lunch. The restaurant was very clean and they were sanitizing as needed and I was able to eat inside the restaurant.

The sandwiches were good but my complaint was that they were so busy. The line was out the door. Also, I used the bathroom, needed a key to do so and it is a 1 person at a time bathroom but the light was broken. Had to do my business in the dark. Weird experience. I told the cashier when I returned the key and he just shrugged his shoulders. Soooo, who knows.🤷

I was doing a doordash this evening around 7:50pm and this kind hearted gentleman named Matt continued to help the customers before me as well as my orders even after everyone left him alone. He was still determined to make each order correct even while being frustrated. He did not show his anger but continued to work with a smile. Matt you are amazing

The people at this location are so incredibly kind and accommodating.
My car had broken down in the middle of the nearby intersection and, being that I am from Bellingham(was going to Port Townsend to see my boyfriend)and didn't know anyone from Oak Harbor, I was basically stranded. While I desperately struggled to get a motel and ride to said motel(while carrying 5 bags with me), the employees did whatever they could to comfort me, even if it was just talking about the situation.
Eventually, I was able to secure a ride and shelter but the kindness shown to me by the staff was truly a highlight to a horrible moment. <3

My wife and I stopped by for a quick solution to our lack of meal planning, on our way home from a short road trip today. While the shop itself was nothing of particular interest, our Sandwich Artist most definitely was.
Lucas was cheerful, professional, and kind. He took intense pride in his craft and it good was delicious as a result, of course. This young man is making a service job into his own thing, and rocking it. He reminds me of me at my first car wash job 15 years ago.
