1 of the best pubs round here.the landlord is really friendly ever since Sean as taken over the place the. Pub seems to be on the up carnt wait for the new renovation as I use this pub at least 6 days out of the 7 they try to cater for all family and kids even if your just on ya own drinking always conversation flowing would definitely rate this place especially now they have a new chef aswell 👍

I ant been hear for years it change hands twice carpark got a meater on it but if your going in put your reg in at the bar they no signs saying free for customer they do Cury eat in or takeaway good range off bears they make you felt welcome

Under new management—lovely traditional pub with great selection of drinks. Nice interior but also with a cute enclosed back garden, complete with a friendly resident rabbit named Peter!

Despite this venues kitchen being closed and there not being all their advertised beers being available - the atmosphere and the young lady running the venue made the visit memorable and left us wanting to return.
Support this pub. Great potential.

My first visit here post-lockdown and it was very positive. It was early evening on a Friday. Signage is good, as is availability of sanitiser. Some customers came in through the clearly signed EXIT ONLY door and staff politely explained why the door is an exit only and asked if they would be good enough to follow the one way system next time they came in.
Staff were very friendly and really helpful (letting me look at labels on gin bottles to help me decide which one I wanted to try).
No drinking at the bar, which means you can actually get to it to buy drinks.

Excellent choice for vegetarian meals which is unusual even in this day and age.
We think its family run which is so nice to see.
The team seemed to work together very well. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
The owner of the pub made the effort to come to us to check our meals were all ok and thanked us for choosing to dine with them this evening (valentines day). This was greatly appreciated.
The waitress was so very pleasant and friendly too.
It's very much a locals pub which is nice.
Thank you from us both, we will be back very soon 🥰

A cosy, homely pub with comfy furniture and brilliant staff.
Seems mostly popular with older regulars, but also well equipped for sports fans and small groups.
My friends and I were served by Tom, who was incredibly helpful and personable.

They are so good at dealing with allergies and making arrangements for me. Always friendly and welcoming. Quick service and delicious food!

Great Home Cooked food. Although living in East Yorkshire have visited 5 or 6 times and had great meals everytime. Our kid is at Leicester university and this is a great place to get a home cooked meal with veg too.
