Zest Cafe

The cafe is on the right side of the street for the outdoor seating area to get morning sun, and it was welcome since we had our dog with us. We got two of the harvest bowls, which sounded delicious on the menu. In reality, they were ok. Pumpkin falafels were a bit dry and the bowl could use a sauce to bring it all together. Cappuccino was alright. My partner got a long black and it was not great.

Finding a coffee that you know will be consistently good is a struggle wherever I travel. Being able to come to Zest café and know you’ll get a great coffee is brilliant. Jess, Lilli and Megan are fantastic and I totally enjoy they also remember your name. I don’t even live in the area anymore, however am greeted like a local. Food is a bonus.... it’s as good as the coffee....and the atmosphere is inviting too. You can have a meeting, being a friend or even the family and all areas are covered. I talk about Zest in all my work presentations because the customer experience has a huge FIVE STARS.

We ordered ‘The Hangover’ and ‘Berry Ricotta Croissant’. After waiting 30 minutes, with not many in the cafe, I asked on the progress of the order. It came out promptly after this. The Hangover was missing the baked beans, and the cooked tomato was cold, as hadn’t been cooked through. The berry croissant wasn’t toasted, was missing the drizzled honey, and had a hair in it. We were disappointed at the quality after a long wait.
