Water Edge is a great place, the staff are friendly and happy to help. They are kid friendly and also have an over 18 area, which is great. They do get busy when the sun is out, but it is what to be expected as they have outside seating area.

First time coming to waters edge, so impressed with the friendly customer service across the whole team, a young girl, Maria, was absolutely brilliant, very chatty and friendly, came over to make sure everything was ok with my meal which you don't always get in hospitality nowadays, personally I like spicy mayo which they didn't have but she made me one mixing the peri sauce and mayo instead of saying 'sorry we don't have any', it makes a difference to your meal and experience when staff go the extra mile, which is definitely the case at waters edge, quick service, good portions sizes, amazing deals and service with a smile.... what not to love.

Saturday 27/04/24 morning drive by " saw a sign" for two Full English Breakfasts for the price one 😀

Lovely morning really nice tasting breakfast washed down with a mug of tea.
Really enjoyed this place had such a great time a long walk along the canal surrounded my ducks, Geese, Swans, Boat Barges definitely visiting again.

A bit hit and miss with the food when I've visited. Had pie and mash once and, I can't be certain, but the mash might have been made out of old car tyres. So I reverted to the chicken parmigiana that I'd had previously, which was good at the price. I might dare to try a burger next time, slowly work up my confidence. Things at these prices can be dangerous. My desert was a stingy square of sponge cake with custard on it - thought I deserved a little more, even for only £4.50. Service was friendly though, and drinks are cheap for a place by the water (though that's a bit murky in these Tory days, still, it's what people voted for).

Food lovely, staff lovely and nice atmosphere. Attended with my partner, our son and a family friend. All of our food was lovely. The restaurant is very well presented and have very clean toilets. The waiter/bar tender was very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely be visiting again.

We had a table for 13. Isaac our host was superb. The food came out together and all hot. Which for 13 people doesn't happen everywhere. We had a birthday cake which they were happy to help with. We had a little boy who dropped some cake which I was cleaning up and Issac insisted he would do it and wouldn't let me help. Super young man thank you all but especially Isaac

Me and my work colleagues come here all the time and don't think we have had a bad service once, staff are always friendly and welcoming.
Food is really nice and price is good aswell. I definitely would recommend coming here weather for food or a nice drink with family, friends and work night out.

The location of this pub is perfect for those warm summer evenings. Just to sit at the side of the canal & enjoy a drink & some tasty food. There is free parking where you put your reg in at the bar. The staff are friendly, welcoming & helpful. The food was served hot & with a smile. Once eaten, the table was cleared in good time, ready for a delicious pudding.

Very clean and tidy, staff friendly and helpful, decent wait time for food, staff check to make sure everything ok, quiet on an early Tuesday afternoon if u want a quiet meal.
Staff let us keep a cake behind bar and kept it chilled until ready, put candle and sang happy birthday.

Excellent service and with a smile. Staff went above and beyond to be helpful (especially John) even printing something out for me that i needed.
Such friendly service really makes all the difference.
Food service was efficient also.
