Perfect just perfect. Lunchtime on a Tuesday busy, but had a table in less than three minutes. Haddock, chips, curry sauce and a pot of tea. Haddock so fresh it must have been right off the boat, golden light crunchy batter, chips were cooked to perfection too. Even the curry sauce arrived in its own silver gravy boat, and the portion was generous. All this was an over 60s special at £9.00 all in! Certainly coming back soon.

Sign of a good restaurant when you have to queue to get in. Well worth standing in a queue, though. Amazing fish and chip shop both for sitting in and for takeaway, best in the area. The staff are very friendly and you are not rushed. Staff are always friendly and helpful

I feel lucky finding this little gem in North Shields. Fresh fish really nice and natural chips. Good prices. You can eat in the restaurant inside or on an outside bench with a table. They sell coffee, other drinks and ice-cream. Plenty of parking space and nice walk by the fisheries.

The absolute best fish and chips 💖 the staff are amazing so helpful efficient full of happiness 😁 had a lovely bottle of white wine to chill out.. sticky toffee pudding to follow happy days.. All very reasonably priced.. Big thankyou to the best in the northeast.. 🎉💕🌹🌹

We love coming to this place. There’s a young lady with an initial tattoo on her finger, don’t know her name but she always has a smile and is a total credit to the business. Nothing is too much trouble from anyone that serves you.
