Ordered take out. Asked for extra spicy but it was mild. Chicken tikkka masala was ok (they must have been short of Chicken so picked it from grill and mixed it with masala ), garlic naan was good, chili paneer not great. There was a birthday party being arranged at the time we ordered so maybe they didn't care abt food quality.

We were a bit hesitant to go after reading some of the negative reviews about cleanliness and stomach ill-effects afterwards, but had been planning to go for a while so decided to give it a try. We decided to try the weekend buffet. I am very very picky about cleanliness, so when we first went in, just to be sure, we asked if we could first see the buffet before deciding to stay or not and the waiter was very supportive and showed us around the items on the buffet. We decided to eat there since I found it to be much cleaner than most ethnic establishments. The food was good, not spectacular, but good, the waiter very nice and always had a smile on. The only issue is that even though the gas heaters under the serving trays were on, the food was room temperature at best. Otherwise, all was fine and the naan they bring to the table was among the best I had (steaming hot, too). I am taking a star for the food not being hot. Too bad other people had negative reviews, I can recommend this place!

This place is amazing. The service was fantastic. They were attentive to clearing away unneeded plates and keeping out drinks full. They came over enough to check on on us but not too much that it was encroaching. The food was phenomenal. My wife and I had samosa, lamb vindaloo, paneer tikka masala, and garlic naan. When we ordered, our server asked us how spicy we wanted our food. This is awesome. If you don't want it spicy, just let him know. My wife and I liking spicy food though got it spicy. It was amazing. The samosa had a light, crispy outside with a delicious inside. The vindaloo and the tikka masala were both fantastic. The portion size was great! We probably could have split one but we wanted to have different ones to eat. Both orders came with a large amount of rice which was prepared perfectly. The garlic naan was equally delicious. My only regret is that I don't live closer to iSpice.

Vegetarian review. Decor is new age though roomy. I have rarely noticed table-spacing upon entering a restaurant. They must have a lot of guests with strollers. Gobi 65 - We ordered this as an appetizer and they served us chicken instead of cauliflower and then corrected the order. It was dry on the outside and bland on the inside. It felt as though the spices were not marinated into the cauliflower. The dominant flavor for this dish was garlic. Ask for the schezwan sauce, which was quite good, on the side to savor beyond garlic. I would quantify their medium spicy more as mild. Paneer tikka masala: The server suggested we order this as medium-to-spicy (the next level from Gobi 65) but it was still too mild. The gravy was too tomatoey (if that's a word) and was loaded with more onions than all the green bell pepper and paneer pieces added up. I strongly recommend you to vocalize your preference on this ratio when placing the order. The naan was excellent but disappointed that the vegetables were not authentic and did not stand up on their own. In my opinion, Guru Palace and iSpice are in the same league in the quality of food they serve. I will avoid both.

Well if there is 0 or negative stars then this place deserves it badly:-) The wait staff has absolutely no smile on their face. The food is 1 or 2 stars but the big issue is cleanliness. If North Brunswick food inspector is doing his/her job properly this place would be closed down yesterday! Let me tell you However, the hostess was the grumpiest I have ever seen. She had no smile and never spoke a word with any one. She took a piece of b'day cake and eating it hiding it . { I don't mind she taking the cake but not sure why she was hiding the cake as she ate it}. Time to eat food ..each EVERY plate was so unclean, had so much left over food layers from previous 10 different parties that I decide to pass the dinner. So next I said let me eat some milk sweets..The sweets served tasted made with slimy sweet milk. Clear sign that sweets has been sitting in the fridge for 10 or more days. My family member who ate the food had major stomach ache. More over I also saw the manger was looking at his watch since the time party started...he was trying to shut the party down as soon as he could. So don't go there if you really want to enjoy your party. N. Brunswick food inspector or some police officer if you are reading : Pls shut down this place and save some lives please, before some one gets seriously food poisoned again!!!

Beware of Wednesday night's buffet. They will not refill the food after 9:00pm while the buffet is open until 10:00pm. You will have biryani, dessert and few other non-veg items run out of buffet and this person named Kiran will try to be nice but you will not get them on time. You will regret that you chose this place to have a nice time.

I was very dissapointed. I had a groupon that I paid 23 dollars for, it was for a full dinner for 2 up to 48 bucks. We let it expire, but its policy that the groupon is still worth the initial 23. They get that money. He wouldnt accept it. i tried to explain to him that its still worth the money i spent, he would not accept it and tried to seat us anyway . You would have thought "Hey ive never seen these people, this is my chance to turn them into customers" - the place was empty besides the owner or manager. It was bad business especially because we spent money to be there and were not asking for a favor. Needless to say we walked right out, and went to a turkish restaurant a few doors down and they were excellent! groupon agreed with us and apologized for his rudeness.
