Cracker Barrel

Great food and great service. Shout out to our waitress she was the best! Showing this New Yorker that southern hospitality. "Y’all come back now hear!" A joke she made at the table. I gotta remember her name. I told the cashier she was great they rang a bell at the cashier and gave her a shout. I think it was Cathy.

We went to this location at 12:15pm on 4/1/22. We ordered lunch portions of the meatloaf and were given dinner portions and charged for dinner portions. When I spoke to the manager about it, he was extremely rude and yelled at the cashier who called him up front. He offered only to take off one drink even though we had to wait over 30 minutes for food, the sweet tea was undrinkable, gravy was not given to go with the country fried steak. We paid over $70 for this and it was absolutely awful. Part of the excuse was that the waitress was new but that's absolutely no excuse. Will absolutely never go there again.

The first door leads you to the store, in the back there's the hostess to take you to your seat. The store is clean and smells nice. As for the restaurant, the day I went with my two companions, was quite crowded. The table was barely dry when we sat down, the waitress was fantastic and kind. But the food wasn't that good, my steak wasn't medium-well from all the pink on the inside, my companion's burger wasn't well seasoned for them to like it. I do like this restaurant but the food on this visit wasn't all five star.

Despite the fact they were understaffed and busy you could tell the whole team was working together to make sure every guest was taken care of. My sister and I both were beyond impressed. Not only were we taken care of in a timely and professional manner, but our food came out quickly and more importantly correctly. The food itself was the best I've ever had from one of the many cracker barrel locations I've visited. Our server Akebia was such a sweet heart and despite being busy she was polite and took the time to talk with us and make sure everything was right and didn't try to rush away she was very cool under the pressure of the busy crowd. She kept our drinks full and even asked if we wanted a drink to-go when we were finished. Every staff member we met today from the host, the kitchen staff and the cashier were phenomenal. They all deserve to be given praise for their outstanding team work and beautiful service. You've got an amazing group of people at this location.

Second Sunday in a row my bf and I went to this location. Last Sunday the hostess told us it was a 45 minute wait and we would be better off going somewhere else. Ok… this Sunday, today, we got up extra early to come here before I had to go to work. The place wasn’t very busy mind you we came way before church rush. We were seated right away… then Ignored. Completely ignored. Like the staff wouldn’t even look at us. We watched multiple people who came in after get seated and drinks plus orders taken. After over 20 minutes of that finally a server came to us. By then we were done. We just left and again, like last Sunday went to Waffle House. A place we can depend on to have happy, friendly, speedy service. We will never go to this Cracker Barrel location again but will stick to the loving friendly staff at basically every Waffle House in the area. Thank you again Waffle House employees for yet again coming to out rescue
