Rouladen - thin sliced beef, rolled & stuffed with onions, bacon, carrots, and gherkin), with potato mash, red cabbage and creamy mustard sauce.
Wow, what an absolutely delicious meal! That flavoursome mustard sauce makes the dish complementing the tender beef, a delicious array of flavours from the stuffing, yummy hearty mash, and a slight acidity from the cabbage to cut through the richness of the sauce. So satisfied, perfect for this cold weather.
They're also at the Newcastle City Farmers market on Sunday where the display cabinet of desserts caught my eye. I loved the baked German cheesecake and thoroughly enjoyed the Bavarian Apple pie.

A tad pricey but great imported beers and probably the best german experience youll have in newcastle. A couple more non pork and at least one vego option might attract a wider clientele imo

Cosy place in a good location. We didn't have booking but they took our order at around 8pm and we were very happy with food and service. We ordered chefs special which was very yummy, enough for 3 people and not expensive. Special came with 🍺 which was average.

What a great place we were walking around trying to find somewhere to eat and stumbled apon this little place. The fern family are great and were my favorite on the travel guide show. Besides that the food was great and service was amazing.
