M Bistro

Located on the third floor of the Ritz Carlton, this restaurant has a great menu of classic Louisiana fare served in a classy setting. Immediately adjacent to the Davenport Lounge, the space has a large skylight which brightens up the room to supplement the three chandeliers. For breakfast, I had the crawfish creole omelette and it was superb. Staff is super friendly and would highly recommend.

Great environment for meetings, quiet brunch, lunch, dinner… atmosphere is great. Staff all super friendly. Byron was a great bartender, very knowledgeable about all the food and drinks. He also knows about great places to visit around the area. He kept the drinks coming and his recommendations on food were spot on! Will definitely be back!!!

We visited M bistro Restaurant at the Ritz Carlton Hotel for lunch. We came to New Orleans on a weekend trip for business, but it was also our anniversary. I’m always leary of upscale places because I’m just not into that for various reasons. However, my husband loves going to nice places. I’m always looking at the service industry because so many places stink at service now. This place was AMAZING! Lataria was an excellent server. She made the best recommendation recommendations on the menu (I’m sure all the food is delicious). We had such a nice conversation with her. She made our experience so enjoyable. Ryan (maybe a manager of some sort because he ask how our appetizers were) was so very nice to talk with us. This was the best place we have eaten on this trip and the nicest hotel we’ve stayed in on our trips. My husband had the Blackened Redfish and I had the Chicken Sandwich. I highly recommend both. For appetizers we had the flatbread with shrimp and the BBQ Shrimp and Grits they were amazing. The presentation of the food was beautiful! One of the things I know is that if it doesn’t look good, it’s hard to eat, so that’s such an important aspect for me. This will definitely be our first choice when we come back. I have a picture, but Google isn’t letting me post it. I’ll have to try again later.

We stopped here as most local restaurants were full, and yes, it's the Ritz, so you can't go wrong. So good! Quiet, fine dining atmosphere. Excellent service. Gluten-free options... lots. Oysters Rockefeller were yum! Seriously good. The scallops over risotto were fantastic. I'm super happy with our entire experience. Highly recommend.

We have dined here twice. I believe the first time our server was Ash. Did a fantastic job! What a pleasant experience. The corn bisque and NOLA salad were excellent. And I was surprised by the beignets as well!! The second time our server was Luna and she was incredibly sweet and kind. And a shout out to the concierge who got us the perfect table to view the live entertainment. Well done M Bistro/Ritz!

Can I give more than 5 stars? I'm definitely surprised for this restaurant appearance, environment and food quality. Went there on 11/26/21 for dinner and had a blast experience. Music was great, live band, right volume that still you can develop a conversation with a person next to you. Servers were extremely nice and educated. All dinner courses were phenomenal. And I'm glad for dessert I asked for their beignet, just outstanding! For my first night having dinner in NOLA, I set the bar too high. After this experience, other restaurants were good, this one was the best. Really recommend.
