It was a warm feel when you walk in. The made with love was my highlight! The chocolate orange espresso muffin was delicious.

Hands down, the best muffins in town. They also have a sugar-free, mushroom hot chocolate which I appreciated so much!
Thank you for feeding me so many vegan delicacies over the months I lived there :)

I posted a 3 star by accident and just realized now. Daylin the owner is always very helpful and outgoing. The staff are always super sweet and accommodating with my orders. They know order and are always evolving they treat selection and coming with great new options. The hazelnut brownie is my all time favourite, the smoothies rock and I love their London fogs with the new moon earl grey. Thanks guys <3

Cute little cafe on Baker Street, with great vegan and gluten free options. House-made nut milk, rotating features(our visit was almond). Nice mocha made with BC crafted Viva Cacao drinking chocolate.

Just visiting Nelson and a friend told us to come here... now I think this will be our regular morning stop for the next 5 days👍🏼👍🏼. The vegan bagel was fantastic👍🏼👍🏼... very filling, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The blue berry muffin was top notch... and all this wrapped in a cool decor and atmosphere

Nelson's oldest cafe with the BEST muffins (they're seriously like a full meal in a muffin).
Always a million options for any dietary restriction, super friendly customer service, and a really cool, passionate owner. The ambiance is unparalleled as well - you feel like you're in a backstreet hidden gem in Montreal!
I <3 Dominion Cafe

Wonderful little cafe. Batista's weren't overly welcoming but they did their jobs answering questions I or others had (mostly about the muffins or other treats) and made a great americano. The display case on top of the cooler for the muffins is what drew all the questions I think - some had a list of ingredients while others didn't and it blocks off behind the counter a bit as it is as tall as an average person.
But the appeal of an older cafe that has made things work with what it has as it grows is one of it's own.. if you want a seamless experience then a newer cafe with all of that planned out is more your style.
Fully enjoyed working here for a couple hours with a coffee, morning glory muffin and the other individuals visiting with each other, reading and writing - no laptops and barely any phones were out from what I noticed. 🧡 plus the gorgeous window art.
