My wife and ate a very early dinner there on Thanksgiving Day today. (She was on crutches so we sat at a table near the front). The food and service were excellent. Our server Ambria was fantastic as well as the rest of the staff. Thank you for making our Thanksgiving great. As always, we’ll be back to enjoy this place. If you’re in Nashville, Morton’s is a must.

After reading the reviews from various sources. I will now share my own perspective on how you can enhance your overall experience at Morton’s. After today’s excellent experience, I have Morton’s in my lunch rotation on days they offer afternoon service. I love their very traditional steakhouse feel that’s formal, cool, & dark. I will never eat a steak in a well lit room. Neither should you & I have a theory as to why their not busy all the time. Morton’s is located away from Broadway, Demonbreun, John Lewis Parkway & The Gulch. Theirs nothing wrong with the food or service here in my opinion. Example, my Caesar Salad from Morton’s is an instant classic textbook case on how to make a perfect Caesar Salad that’s not too salty, runny, bitter or acidic. Sadly, I wasn’t expecting to receive the damn near perfectly made Caesar Salad dressing with the freshest extra large croutons I’ve ever had anywhere. I never took a pic! Somebody was having a great day! I ordered the boned in ribeye medium rare. I requested no extra toppings or sauces. First, no matter your experience & let me be clear. No steak at Morton’s on their worst day, will ever taste worst that beef from your local retailer. I was honored to have them show me why I was glad to have come to dine with them for lunch on Thursday. My steak was cooked to perfection. It was well seasoned not overly salty. My steak was not “burnt” but nicely charred to give it that steakhouse magic the big houses do all to well. To many steakhouse consumers have been “Ruth’s Chrised” into believing that’s theirs only one way to prepare a great steak. I will give Morton’s on Church this complement. As I ate my steak, I was able to enjoy every editable bite down to bone. I had more steak to despite the marbling that made that steak so flavorful & juicy. My steak was not over seasoned, to fatty or too charred. This is me talking trying to spread some good wisdom. When you go out to dine. Especially at high end restaurants, be on high end first class behavior even if you have to fake it. Good manners & being classy goes a long way to ensure your are treated with great care. Don’t treat your server & the team taking care of you like the hired help you can’t make eye contact with. Be first class personified at all times. Man, read them inspirational Instagram post on living your best life. I spoke to the server & manager while eating as it never bothers me to share with them my experience in real time. Let me tell you right now, if they play this service right. I will say this as a test subject, that’s a perfect lunch spot for an afternoon steak. In New York, I do afternoon Steak & honestly. My experience in Nashville was no different than in Manhattan.

We had Ann for our server tonight she was great !Very attentive and kind ! Food was delicious! My uncle talks very highly of this place so we thought we’d take him back for his birthday and it wasn’t as good as last time bc he got into a car accident and broke his nose so he cant smell which effects his taste buds but he definitely enjoyed being back in Morton’s and loved his dessert

We visited from out of state to celebrate our engagement. They had specific menus for us to take home and took a picture of us to take home as a memory all complimentary. Everything from the entire atmosphere, to the dim lighting, the the peaceful feel while dining in, to the service, and the owner/manager making his presence felt in a great comical way. He offered complimentary dessert too! Also, with this being a Scratch Kitchen everything was perfectly mouth watering. I have never eaten here before but definitely will again thanks to this amazing overall service. Thank You!!

I love this restaurant. We make sure to go everytime we visit Nashville. This particular time I was adamant about asking if a side had onions in it. The waitress found out it did so I changed my order. I then ordered the chicken which never had onions before but it did this particular time because they changed the recipe. I'm allergic to onions and I was never told it had it. I sent my food back and they fixed it without onions but I definitely expected to hear from a manager about it. I couldn't finish my meal because my tongue became itchy. The waitress was very apologetic for not thinking of the onions but still no manager came to the table. They dropped the ball on that one. I'll still go back but that was an unfortunate incident.

We went to Morton’s to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The server was very polite and courteous. We ordered New York strip and salmon for dinner, salad and crab cake for an appetizer. New York strip had a sauce on top and we were charged $6.00 for it. We didn't know about the extra charge. The steak tasted good without it so it would be nice for a server to say it upfront. Overall experience was good: delicious food, nice atmosphere and good service. We finished our dinner with hot chocolate cake. We recommend this place for special occasions.

We dined on 05/06/23. Stopped at bar first for a cocktail. Bar service was good, with nice bartenders who answered our questions regarding wine, cocktails and menu. We were seated at our reservation time and were greeted by our server, Davis. He was pleasant, knowledgeable and made nice suggestions. Everything was timed out nicely with us not feeling rushed by the courses. Everything we ordered as correct, prepared as requested and delicious. It would have been a five star review, however, it took a very long time to get our bill. At one point we needed to flag down another server to get our bill. Even after that, it still took a while to get the bill and then pay for our meal.
