Dulce Desserts

Juanita and Dulce did our cake for our November wedding. The cake was absolutely delicious (especially the almond cake!) and our guests were talking about how good it was all night. Not only did it taste wonderful, but the cake was beautiful as well. Juanita delivered the cake to our venue and took the time to place the flowers on the cake. Great cake and service!

First, go find and follow them on Instagram. Did you do that? Gorgeous, right? Did you see that crazy chocolate peanut butter number?! Ok. Our experience: We had so. much. fun tasting wedding cakes with Juanita that we knew right away Dulce was the bakery for us. After a lackluster tasting with another bakery, from the moment we walked into Dulce, we felt as though we were working with an artisan who was invested in ensuring her company delivered exactly what we wanted, and who was prepared to help us determine exactly what that was! Juanita started by asking questions about the wedding (size, style, decor, etc) and our guests, and then asked lots of non-cake specific questions about our taste preferences to determine our palates. Then she offered us a tasting of cakes, frostings, and fillings catered to us. And she’s a riot—we were laughing and carrying on the whole time. It’s easy to forget in the drama of planning a wedding that it’s supposed to be fun! Most importantly, when it came down to the wedding day, the cake was EXACTLY what we’d asked for. My only regret is not slipping a few extra slices into a napkin to take back to the hotel with me—our guests devoured the whole thing! We’re no longer Nashville residents, but we’ll be back at Dulce for our first anniversary cake (they offer a fresh cake on your anniversary instead of you saving a stale frozen one), and any other special events in town!

Juanita is as talented and skilled as they come! Not only was our wedding cake stunning beautiful, and identical to what I had wanted, but it was absolutely delicious as well. More so than that, I would trust her 100% with any of my bakery needs for a wedding or other event. She’s detailed, punctual, a perfectionist, and an absolute joy to be around. She is, without a doubt, the best in Nashville!

Dulce Desserts did the cakes for our wedding. We started the process with an incredible cake tasting to pick our cake flavors and icing combinations. We loved all of our three wedding cakes, but the "space cake" (pictured below) was particularly special to us since we both work in the space industry. We can't wait for our anniversary cake next year!!

I can't say enough about Juanita and Dulce Desserts. I did a few other cake tastings before going into Dulce Desserts. Juanita is straight forward, which I love, and was more than helpful. Her cakes and frosting were delicious! She blew the competition out of the water. Everything was so good and the cakes where moist. The cake was delivered at the venue with plenty of time to spare. Everyone at our wedding raved about the cake. Almost everyone ate two pieces and said they wished they had taken some home, because it was so good. I would highly recommend Dulce Desserts.

Has been my go-to bakery since planning my wife's and I wedding. Very rich yet balanced flavors in every cake, we ordered and enjoyed all five cakes Juanita and her staff made for our wedding; great selection of cupcakes and the absolute BEST pecan shortbread cookies that I have ever had. Must say this place is easily one of if not the best places I have tried here in Nashville for baked goods.

Over an eight year period, I have been ordering, picking up and serving their Wedding Cakes & EVERY TIME these Cakes have been Beautiful & Delicious! Each flavor & filling, amazing! So much so, it is nearly impossible to eat a grocery store or another Bakery's Cake. Now often, with as many Weddings we have done, we get some odd requests of which we go with the owners recommendation because she knows her Cakes!! With their volume and our volume, I do my best to provide enough notice because PERFECTION cannot be rushed and I have ALWAYS received PERFECTION. Oh and what is really on fire are their Samoia Cupcakes & their Chocolate Cake Pops! I LOVE them!!!! This Bakery is well known and Loved in the community because of Customer & Bridal Care, experts in their craft & deliciousness. Believe me, I don't have to wait for a response when we serve a Cake from Dulce, a facial expression is worth a thousand words and going back for seconds!

Juanita and her team at Dulce Desserts are such a delight! I went to one bakery before coming to Dulce. The first bakery was really disappointing and didn't give me the cake tasting experience I had been excited for. Juanita took the time to really get to know my husband and I during our consultation and made us feel very special! We came in with a set budget in mind and in order to keep us under budget she suggested an alternative idea of doing a cake buffet rather than a traditional stacked wedding cake and I fell in love with the idea! Our wedding guest all raved about how beautiful they looked and how delicious they were! We got to have 5 different cake flavors which was amazing. I will be recommending Dulce to everyone :)
