Cafe Intermezzo

A little gem in Nashville! We came here two mornings in a row because it was so wonderful. I have Celiac disease which can make dining out challenging. Cross contamination is a concern. Cafe Intermezzo was more than happy to answer my questions about gluten free menu items and even volunteered how seriously they take preparation without me asking. The omelettes were amazing and the gluten free apple crumb cheesecake was a highlight of my trip! We thoroughly enjoyed their house coffee and they didn’t rush us when we lingered for an hour or two to read our books & drink our coffee. Special shout-out to Sammy/Sami the barista - she was so friendly, remembered guests’ names as they came in, and expertly handled training a newer employee while serving us. We loved this place!

So glad I came here! My last day in Nashville and I spotted this gem! The eggs benedict was out of this world. The aroma from the rosemary potatoes tickles your taste buds as you indulge in the meal. And the hot chocolate IS something to write home about! Incredible service from the host who was so kind with great recommendations to the incredibly special server who helped me once seated, Andrea. Can't wait to send everyone here! Thank you for such a great final meal in the music city!

Loved everything about this restaurant- the ambience, the service, the food, the dessert, and the coffee! Cannot recommend it enough especially for special occasions because the food is quite rich lol. Lastly I read so much about their frutti de bosco in other reviews and can confirm it was fantastic. As for the food, I was told by my company the chicken tortellini was great. My seafood crepe was phenomenal. The spinach and artichoke dip was fresh, deliciously silky and did not seem like it was full of filler ingredients. All in all, a wonderful experience. Cannot wait to come back!

Probably the most delicious tiramisu i’ve ever tasted! It’s imported from Italy 🇮🇹 and they know a thing or two about how to make it ! as to the lattes, the regular latte was my favorite! it’s just perfect and the latte art looks lovely! Poached eggs 🥚 were finger licking delicious and the avocado 🥑 toast with tomatoes was probably the best avocado toast i’ve had in a while! Absolutely fantastic place!

This place is a hidden gem. We were actually planning to go to Pancake Pantry, but the line deterred us. This place is better anyways. Service was great, food was wonderful. Will definitely be here again! Hint: avocado toast was the best I have EVER had, and I’ve ordered this dish at SEVERAL restaurants in different cities. The croque Monsieur was also fantastic, and the strawberry crepe left us in awe. Also, I recommend any of the alcoholic coffees on the menu!

What an absolutely incredible place! The most delicious coffee ☕️ in Nashville without a doubt! Their lattes are some of the best! We’ve been to the location in Alpharetta, Georgia before and it tasted just as good 😊 The one in Nashville feels much bigger inside! But the same amazing interior - the way the bar is decorated with an old school Italian steam espresso machine, the bronze tiles on the ceiling and beautiful chandeliers! The menu is excellent, whichever food item you decide to order! Their tomato soup is a good place to start with! Savory seafood crepes and French croissants 🥐 so as Roast-beef sandwiches were delicious 😋 and their selection of cakes 🍰 is amazing! We’ve had the bosco berry cake and the almond cake and both were incredibly tasty with a cup of classic latte, which is strong and flavorful! Overall food is amazing, coffee is great, interior is cozy and service is nice and friendly! Loved it and will be coming back for more!

We were looking for brunch when we first arrived in Nashville and this place was across the street from our hotel! Our server was super nice and friendly and the food was so so good. Caramel cappuccino was excellent. I had the smoked salmon Benedict with potatoes and my husband had the egg and bacon croissant with potatoes. They were both delicious. Potatoes were so good, I didn't even need the ketchup I had asked for. They did ask if you wanted strawberries or potatoes so the more health conscious can make a lower calorie choice, which is nice :)
