Steak 'n Shake

Food is generally pretty good, especially for the price. I appreciate how late they are open too. The main issue comes from its often inconsistent quality of service and cleanliness, sometimes even bordering that of an Atlanta Waffle House. Other than that it is worth mentioning the several highly positive experiences I HAVE had with employees here, and the chefs always seem to be working very hard too. All of that said, I always come back. I'm a slave to a good burger and shake at 11pm

It was my first time frequenting this chain. I didn't expect to order at a kiosk, nor to pick my food up at the counter. However, the double cheese steak burger was absolutely delightful. The string fries left me wanting. The banana milkshake was satisfying to my palate. Overall, I will return for the food!!

I stopped for a quick bite the other day since I haven't been in years. It has changed a lot as the cash register is now a computer. Which is the majority of fast food places now. The workers looked like they were very busy cooking. They were doing a great job in my opinion. Everything was made correctly, and the booth that I sat at was clean. I didn't really have an option to ask for real ice cream. Since it doesn't ask you that on the computer, i'm not sure if they even do that anymore.

I took my grandchildren for a treat. One grandchild has a SEVERE nut allergy. Everyone wanted a shake. The store offered to make a special shake just for him; so, there would be no allergy issues. He was soooo happy. The employees did a great job meeting our special dietary needs. Great restaurant with a kind and caring group of people! Thank you!!!!

Well, I absolutely love steak n' shake!! I already knew this when I lived in Florida and just coming back to it felt like home :). They have expense burgers for all options and shake combos for the thin wallets. I usually get the garlic burger ($4-2020) and a classic orange cream shake ($3-2020). Not bad for either a quick bite or a stop along a journey. For this location, the bathrooms could use a lot better lighting and some upkeep, but it wasn't bad. The staff were very very friendly! I also suggest that corporate stick to one "rewards" program. We unfortunately do not have SnS in the Midwest and evertime I visit one and re-download the AP, it changes so drastically.
