The Continental

Stop in to have lunch (around 2pm) and was told that we could sit at the bar - no table service available. I was a bit surprised since most of the tables were empty. Seem to be having a staffing issue. But a light lunch at the bar with our friendly bartender was perfect. The caesar salad and the tomato carpaccio were delicious and the hibiscus limonade and the Don Light Spritz were refreshing. A nice way to spend an afternoon!

The Continental on Third Street in Naples offers a luxurious ambiance with both open air and indoor seating areas. The inside resembles a New York steakhouse with high end masculine decor, while the outside area is set in a beautiful garden area with vines, flowers, flowing drapery and a koi pond. The service here has always been great on several visits - friendly, professional, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the menu. On my last visit, all of our food came out in a timely manner, was fresh and prepared as ordered. I would highly recommend making reservations and arriving on time - we were a little late once and denied seating.

Very high end place. Appealing atmosphere and decor. The outdoor area is well decorated and pleasant. The service is attentive and knowledgable. We ordered the salmon and grouper dishes as well as chicken and filet mignon. All were tasty and well cooked and average sized portions. We got the corn and the potato sides and they were tasty. The triple chocolate dessert was delicious and a bit on the bitter side which I like. The cocktails were flavorful and well balanced. Very pricey but good for special occasion/celebration/date.

Impressive entrance way to the hostess. Thursday evening packed inside and outside with live music. You’re immediately impacted by the energy and ambiance in the place. We were seated right away in the closed dining room in view of the kitchen and bar. Our waiter, Reuben, picked up on our positive, chill family vibe and matched our tone. He was informed and delightful. We had 3 courses - all excellent. The wine list was surprisingly approachable and affordable. This is easily a $125 pp event so relax and enjoy it. The food is wonderful and the service is team oriented and professionally choreographed - pay attention.

My husband and I had an amazing time at the Continental! The ambience was spectacular! Great date spot for ANY occasion. The bar setting, the rooms, the wine selection!! I honestly could say so many good things. Nice paced food. Our server Harry was great at catering to our needs and open to friendly conversation!! We were so thankful to have him take care of us. Craig the general manager exceeded our expectations. His hospitality is second to none!! Gave us a great tour of his restaurant and we very pleased! I highly recommend.

All was excellent from the minute we walked in for our Anniversary dinner. The restaurant also had a special gift for us. Hostess, waiter, and bus staff was very good. Very good selection of fresh fish 🐟 and waiter very pleasant as he described the all on menu and the differences with the beef 🐄 selections.
