Franco's

Stopped in looking for a more Mom and Pop style restaurant providing Italian beef and Italian sausage sandwiches. Ordered the Beef and Sausage combo sandwich. The sandwich was large and I was barely able to finish it. The meat was good, tender and flavorful. Similar to Portillo's. The service was great. We were greeted when we entered the building and there was a family atmosphere. There is not a lot of seating but we did find a seat. There are three small tables that seat two people each and a bar along the back of the restaurant that seats approximately 8. My one complaint was that the sandwich bread was soggy on the bottom right after I opened it. Not sure if this was from the sweet peppers that I added or what. Some people might but mind the soggy bread but it hampered the great experience for me. The top of the sandwich was more tough bread so it seemed somewhat weird and lop-sided while eating it. Overall it was a good sandwich and experience.

The people working here are super nice to start. I'm assuming they owned it, but I wasn't sure. however, they were very nice. We ordered the combo and the beef sandwich. The sandwiches were amazing. They put tons of beef on it with giardiniera and peppers and then dip it in Aju. Can we talk this was amazingly good. I'd be happy if the restaurant was cleaner and tables not sticky but because the food was so good I over looked that.

Great food! Italian beef, Beef and Sausage combo, and Chicago style hot dogs. Fries are good too! Can't wait to try other dishes! Went back again had the Chicken parmigiana as a sandwich I almost fell in love! A wonderful sandwich! Brought some food home to top off a meal; meatballs, peppers and sausage, and a stuffed pepper. The family loved it! Took the family there to eat recently, everyone loved what ever they got. One even went for the Eggplant parmigiana as a sandwich and really liked it. I have yet to try it, On my list! Been here many times ! Never disappointed! Now they have a card to get a free hot dog. I may never get enough punches to get my free one because I can't get just hot dogs from here. Gotta keep the tasting going around.

I got a Italian beef with hot peppers, dipped and a well done Italian sausage. Both of them were very good indeed. I ate a half of each, both hit the spot in this "hawk"! And I see why so many reviews are positive about this place. Everything is true and I will be back, no matter what it is doing outside!

Excellent Service with a smile! This was my first time coming to this wonderful ma and pop shop. The gentleman handling the order and register greeted me with a smile, the wait for the food was not long and the Italian Beef was excellent. The portion size was just as if mama had fed you. I will definitely be back! If you want a great Italian Beef Sandwich, you definitely need to visit Franco's in Naperville. It's worth the travel.
