The Runway

The pulled pork dishes are delicious but they have run out before. The staff are friendly but service can sometimes be slow. This place makes for a decent "$100 hamburger". Be careful, however, currently the restaurant is not open on the weekends. Rumor has it that's changing, hopefully soon. There's also rumors of introducing Moroccan dishes to the menu, which is exciting.

Great atmosphere. Fantastic view. Was able to climb up the steps of a 1939 DC-3 parked in front of the restaurant and found out that tours and travels were available. The fine dining and free tour of the vintage WW2 aircraft was fantastic. PS The BLT and house salad is more than worth going back for.

Our waitress was horrible. She came to our table didn’t say anything just “are you ready to order?? “ Not would you like something for drink?nothing!!!! We sat there for 45 minutes waiting for our food. No one offered us bread or anything. Then she brings my daughter her dinner and me my salad at the same time She just sat the plate down without a word and walked away. It is the most horrible service I have ever had at a restaurant. But I will be back!!!! The owner came to our table. Apologize. Comped my meal, even sat with us and served me the most amazing stuffed chicken breast I have ever eaten. Thank you Patrick, I will recommend your establishment to everyone I know

I was told at one of the wineries to go there for dinner. The restaurant is actually at the regional airport, with great views of the tarmac. We were there around 4pm during the week - no crowd. Pleasant, aeronautical ambiance. Got served by the proprietor himself, Patrick. Very nice, accommodating person. Good wine selection, very good food (ribs, which they smoke themselves, were to die for), great service, great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Various members of my family and I have enjoyed The Runway By Patrick several times over the past few months. We've had lunch and dinner, the service and food were excellent. The prices extremely reasonable, much better than establishments up valley. Laurie has been our server a few times and she is always friendly, helpful and extremely efficient. Our most recent visit was last weekend for my great nieces 16th birthday party and there were 14 of us in attendance. Laurie, and the rest of the serving team were great, breaking the bill down in to 4 tabs easily and cheerfully. My Step-Grandpa was Hugh Jones, the original owner of Jonesy at this location, and I can say Patrick has done him proud providing excellent food and service, at reasonable prices!!! I highly recommend The Runway By Patrick to anyone who enjoys good food, and service at a great price.
