Subway

I'll start by saying I hate every other Subway but this one. The people are very nice and happy to help, especially the manager/or owner not sure which but he is always there. He always goes above and beyond to please. The food also tastes more fresh then other Subways I have visited. You know how Subways usually have their sad line of sandwich ingredients that have been sitting there since president Carter? Not here. I see them switch out lettuce and other stuff constantly. As for atmosphere...well it's a Subway. You remember the Subway you dropped by when you forgot your lunch last week but don't want MacDonald's again? Looks just like that one. What about the Subway you went in on that very long road trip and this is the last eatery/bathroom stop before you hit DC traffic? Yep, looks like that one too. As an aside, it is a convenient walking distance from my work and other favorite places, which benefits no one but me. Still, I will look forward to dropping in to often on my lunch break almost every week as I didn't have time to pack a lunch in the morning and certainly won't do so at night after work.

Nothing special about this subway visit ... the most memorable part was the assistant I received from my sandwich professional ... didn't get her name as I don't recall her having a nametag ... order the Meal Deal of the Day (or something to that nature) ... today's sandwich was the Turkey Breast, which is usually my sandwich of choice ... so yay for me .. ordered the usual toppings ... toasted italian herbs and cheese bread, with provolone, spinach, tomatoes, banana peppers, olives, salt/pepper, oil/vinegar, a little mayo and a little mustard ... funny how it really just depends on the day ... because I have ordered this sandwich 100s of times and today's edition didn't move me at all ... sigh! But the location was very clean and again the person who helped me was great!
