The food was good and hot when I got it. They was busy but still took the time to check on me and tell me when my order was coming. They also have pretty reasonable prices and a very friendly atmosphere

If you're looking for good food at a reasonable price then you would enjoy the Counter Cafe. It's a little neighborhood cafe, nothing fancy but the atmosphere was so homey. We had the mountain cheeseburger which was cooked to perfection and definitely not a frozen patty. We are looking forward to go back and try their breakfast menu.

My husband and I stopped by this cafe and it was a wonderful atmosphere, the waitress and cooks were amazing. They were short staffed yet they kept going and was really nice under the pressure they were under....good wholesome food, good people.

Best onion rings in town! All the food was great. Since its changed to smoking J's the food has gotten that love back. 5*

2nd oldest restaurant still in operation in Hamblen County! Still has the old school diner feel!
