Cellar Door On First

We have been in Mooloolaba for five days and tonight’s meal at Cellar Door on First was hands down the best meal of our stay so far. The quality of the food, the exceptional service and the value for money makes this a winner in our opinion and we regularly frequent good dining establishments in Sydney. All 3 dishes we sampled were on par with any chef hatted restaurant In Sydney or Melbourne. The ambience of this lovely restaurant is understated and elegant. The staff were knowledgeable and welcoming and the Manager was a pleasure. The three course meal with wine was sublime, our lamb cooked to perfection. If you want a special night out this venue just one street back from the Esplanade will deliver in spades. Loved loved loved it.

Superb food and experience- highly recommend! We came here for our wedding anniversary and couldn't fault anything. The staff were highly professional yet warm, the food was decent portions and phenomenal quality. Combined with an excellent drinks list, this is by far our favourite fine dining restaurant on the coast

Absolutely LOVED our dining experience at Cellar Door. The restaurant is very pretty and well set out. We sat outside which was a really nice setting. The staff were so friendly and so knowledgeable. And the food... AMAZING!! Each course was so beautifully constructed and presented and the flavours were fantastic. Hands down one of the top dining experiences we've ever had.

This was such an unexpected surprise. Don't be put off by the fancy menu, this is food at its absolute best. Such a delicious meal, paired with excellent service by the wait staff who were very attentive to our dietary needs. Next time you are on the Sunshine Coast, please make this one of your dinner destinations.

A small restaurant tucked away behind the waterfront high rises. My wife, two friends and myself had one of our best meal/food experiences. We’ve eaten at Tetsuyas and Vue de Monde and this was the same but different and at a much lower price point. Two of us had the degustation with matching wines and two from the menu. The degustation was well thought out, presented beautifully and the wines matched expertly. The menu selections were equally as good. The restaurant staff could have all been sommeliers with their wine knowledge. Their service was excellent and their engagement with us was enjoyable. We were delighted and particularly because of the surprise to have the outstanding experience and food tucked away in Mooloolaba
