Bay Cafe

This is a nice restaurant they close a 2PM, they have amazing coffee and breakfast for those who like to get up early. There is a hotel next to this restaurant so if you are staying at the hotel next door they got a back door for the hotel guests to come in early in the morning to get your coffee or your lunch. If you enjoy nice views this restaurant has large widows all around the restaurant. if you like good food and good coffee this is the place to go to. I hope who ever is reading my review enjoys this place as much as I did. Bring your friends and family to this restaurant they will enjoy the nice panoramic view they close at 2PM so come early in the morning.

Had breakfast at the Bay Cafe and Cantina in Monterey. The service was friendly and very accommodating. The restaurant was clean and my breakfast was fresh, presented nicely and delicious. I had to ask them to warm my coffee but I know most people don't like their coffee piping hot like I do. There's also a pleasant view of the small lake out of the restaurants large windows. Thank you Bay Cafe for such a pleasant meal!

Great breakfast, terrific view, clean cheerful decor and good friendly service. Thus place has an extensive egg menu including a generous selection of Mexican egg breakfast choices. They also have a good selection of breakfasts on the American traditional list and plenty of waffle and pancake dishes. My wife had the pancakes, ordered without sugar dusting and really enjoyed them. She had a side of bacon that we shared. One piece is in the picture of my burrito breakfast, it's a good size strip. The breakfast burrito was great, but slightly different from the typical: folded egg down the middle with refried beans and cheese. On the side is delicious homemade guacamole, pico, and sour cream. They also have 25 kinds of tea available by the pot, Carmel Valley Roasting Company coffee, and all the traditional lunch items on the menu.

I did not want to review this wonderful place! I want to keep it a secret! Only for us lucky ones that already know. It is hidden in and a part of the hotel. The food is great! Their food is filled with taste and good portions! The service is there. They are very prompt with our food orders. Our Coffee cups always refilled without having to call on someone. Our table is always kept tidy and cleared. Although we were very messy. We had our grandchildren with us. The staff is always courteous and attentive. We will be comming back.
