Sincerely Yogurt

Cringe worthy experience. Poorly kept store front: sticky doors and floors, dirty countertops and handles, bathroom a mess, etc. Yogurt selection was extremely limited and terrible mix combinations. Had 4 out of the 12 flavors out of order. Literally all the toppings were rock hard/stale. Your hostess was your classic teenagr with zero desire to be there. Want to love this place so bad but just can not.

My wife and I had a deeply uncomfortable experience at Sincerely Yogurt and will not return. I go to yogurt shops and understand the reality that not everything can be pristine at all times. This location was noticeably unclean. The floors were insanely sticky, the machines looked significantly less clean than most I've seen, and the topping section seemed like it hadn't been tended to since opening. I was having significant reservations and then I saw the person working the counter fill a web order. After filling a cup with yogurt, she went to add what looked like berries from a container behind the counter and paused. She stared at it, walked to the back and began spooning the contents into the garbage. She then smelled the container, scowled, and continued removing more fruit from the container. She then returned to the checkout counter, put the open container next to the blender, and checked us out. IMPORTANT: I did not see her put any fruit into the customer's cup and prepare it for pickup. However, nothing about watching what happened made me think she was going to discard the entire container and adjust the order. We paid for the yogurt and promptly threw it away. I am both disgusted and relieved to have seen that happen. At least my wife did not eat any of their yogurt.

It has been almost two years since I had been here because of being stationed overseas. Before that, I would take my son here regularly. Today we went in and I am sorely disappointed in the array I found the place. First there were only four flavors available; two actual frozen yogurts and two sorbets. Over half of the toppings were empty or nearly empty. The center area of the toppings looked as if it had not been cleaned in quite a while with miscellaneous toppings strewn around, and an entire topping container missing that revealed even more random toppings scattered underneath the containers. The floor was sticky from the time we walked in the door until we reached the check out counter. The young lady working was not unpleasant but also not receptive either. Overall the experience today was nothing like I had experienced in the past here. I hope that it can step back up to its former standards.

A few months ago I did get hired here but there was an issue with communication with the manager so I decided at the time while she’s there wasn’t the right place for me to work. Told her in the interview that I could train on a weekday afternoon then when I got home it popped up on my phone that I had a doctors appointment for the same day and time I was supposed to train so I texted the manager if I could change it to the evening that I couldn’t do the afternoon anymore never got a response back then I called too and she answered didn't say anything then hung up so I called a few times even the next morning went to voicemail and this was before opening hours and I went back to texting her and all my texts were getting ignored still before opening so when they were opened I went in there and the manager was sitting there on her cell phone so that really made me mad because it’s always been a dream of mine to work for sincerely yogurt but how could I work somewhere where the manager is not even communicating back to me and ignoring me purposely. I told her this isn’t the right place for me to work as in this location and I found another location to work at in Bridgeville for sincerely yogurt (that didn’t end up working cause not only was it too far but the roads out there are really bad and people drive really crazy out there which gave me high anxiety and manager was kinda iffy at first if she wanted to hire someone who lived all the way in plum cause plum to Bridgeville is far) so she said she didn’t know sincerely yogurt had other locations she was shocked they had one in Bridgeville. Didn’t say anything to her about ignoring my texts and calls and hanging up on me because I’m not a confrontational person. My feelings were hurt here it was this location/company that I always wanted to work for had a dream to work for and the manager just couldn’t communicate with me whatsoever. How can anyone work somewhere where the manager doesn’t have good communication skills. Communication is ALWAYS key no matter what. I’m disappointed. I couldn’t find the owners information online and I don’t know if they have corporate. But I decided to do a review when I was ready for the owners to see.
