Panera Bread

First and last time at this Panera. Ordered bagels and coffee for a breakfast celebration at work… put the order in the evening before to pick up at 7:35am, earlier than I needed just to be safe and not late for work. Got a notification at 7:20 that my order was ready. Arrived at 7:45. When it wasn’t on the shelf as the text had said I was informed that the bagels were almost ready (as in just put in a bag) but they needed to brew the coffee still and it would be 10-15 minutes yet. The manager came out after I expressed my disappointment and at that point they had the coffee ready in about 7 minutes. They said they couldn’t refund me the coffee if I decided to leave without it. Asked for a discount or some kind of reimbursement for the poor service as it had now made me late for work, and was told this wasn’t possible. Upon double checking, they hadn’t put the cream cheese in either like they said they had and had to ask again for it. Really unfortunate experience all around.

I love this location. The one thing I would highly suggest to the owner is to invest in hiring a special cleaning business to deep clean the bathrooms to make them look as nice as the rest of the establishment, and have employees improve on the upkeep in-between. The womens bathroom was in really bad condition that if the health department came in for a random inspection they'd give it a bad rating. Both dispensers had no paper towels to dry your hands after washing them, and the toilets-- I wouldn't use them if I worked there.

I hate to do this, but we as a people have to explain this to none minority individuals. I simply ordered a salad and a sandwhich for my father and I. I am 52 and he's 80 years old. The food is fantastic!! However I am referring to my interaction with a person at the pickup station. As a minority and 52 year old man I expect respect in regards to a transactional experiance. We as minority men HATE when none minorities make assumptions about who we are. My transaction is as follows; My name is called. I left my first name. In recieving my food from the person behind the counter. They said in some hip hop gangster vanaculer, " Here you go man. Here's your food man" I was immediately offended. People have try to understand this is a place of business. I paid for the food. TRANSACTION! I AM ALSO 52! I am from Penn Hills from long ago. The younger person behind the counter does not know me. Use my first name or sir. It's a respect thing. I have lived a lot of life and never been sensative in this manner. It's not just that person it happens alot. We are people who deserve respect. How many times do none minorities expect us to deal with that nonesense before we call it out. I normally do, luckily I was in hurry. Teach your children better please.

I had to waste time before drs appt witch I was very nervous about I asked for soup but was told it wasn't ready while waiting for sandwich soup became ready I finally got sandwich and egg was cold and I did not like the sausage so I asked for manager he came over I explained I wanted soup but I was told not ready so I got sandwich which I told him what was wrong with it he told me I didn't need to speak so slow he understands english I had no doubt that he could and I guess I was talking slow cause I'm nervous about appt not quite sure why he said that but he shouldn't talk like that to people wonder if it was someone that had speech impairment regardless he did give me soup and it was yummy 😋

i bought a cup for tea, the cashier did not bother to ask for my membership card but, when I started to punch it on my own, he stopped me and told me not to worry about it. So I left no tips for him. But then i found out that the hot water tank was totally empty, so I had no tea. The restaurant is absolutely empty. I’m giving 5 stars only because sometimes it goes better here.

I don't know how these places stay in business. I've gone to Panera Bread about once a year. Every time I'm there I fine there menu confusing, and lacking details. This time, I end up with a very expensive salad , and drink, that is not necessary very good, and with almost no meat. I should have complained. I'm making a mental note never to go to any of them again.
