Wayback Burgers

Cruising down the freeway today I have cheeseburger on my mind for lunch and need something good. Different if possible…. A quick search brings up Wayback Burgers. I’m so there! Lots of cars in the lot, a good sign. Inside is an easy menu of just enough items for good variation. I ordered the Cheesey(double cheeseburger). Meat, cheese, meat, cheese on a grilled bread. Absolutely great!! The Cod sandwich next with pickles. You know how by the time they bread the fish and it’s on a roll it’s gooey or just too much bread taste. Not this one! It was awesome!! Really it could not have been better! The firey fries and onion rings were the perfect sides….. though my counter person(I think that’s the politically correct term) brought a side of their deep fried Mac and cheese over to try….. uh boy… this is going to be a problem!! They were SOOO good!! I left with a little leftover and again the awesome staff was there with a bag for my takeout before I could even ask! That said I don’t think I’ve been to a restaurant, even Morton’s Steakhouse lately, that the staff was so perceptive, helpful and genuinely NICE! Smiles everywhere. Staff, customers and me! I assure you every time I pass here I’ll be stopping in. No joke. It will be part of my drive! Thank you Wayback for an awesome experience!!

I've been to two different Wayback burgers and loved them both. This one is great. Burger almost looked like the advertisement when I unwrapped it (Big Way, knock off Big Mac that taste better than the Big Mac), but I went to eat it too fast to really compare between the pic and what my food looked like. No pics bc I'm eating it in my car like an animal. The price of that and fries was like 12 bucks, which isn't bad. The Big Way taste like a fresher Big Mac. Highly recommend. Service was great. Very clean inside, like sterile type. And whoever served me (July 5, 1220pm), was very very nice which is par the course for Wayback. I went to wait in my car for the food and he brought it out to me, was not expecting that. I leave reviews when I think the staff and the place deserve it. I eat out all the time. I'm just saying, come through, get a burger, enjoy it, come back. I will when I'm creeping in the area.

Was passing through Monroe for a trip, and decided to try out Wayback in Monroe. It ended up being a great decision! I'm a huge burger fan and Wayback thoroughly impressed me with the perfectly seasoned, super tasty burger that they had. The strawberry milkshake is also really delicious and the perfect size.. These other burger chains better step up their game, because Wayback has got some great quality burgers at a reasonable price. I also love that they had grilled chicken options for those trying to eat a little leaner. The staff at Monroe was awesome, and it definitely felt like the burgers were cooked with love.
