Applebee's

Was visiting from out of town and popped in for a bite on my way home. Staff were very courteous, friendly and professional. Food came out quick - so quick that we figured it had been microwaved! It was fresh, piping hot and served with a smile. If I find myself on Monroe, La. again, I'll definitely pop in again!

RAW FOOD!! This Applebee’s serves Raw Food. As an airline pilot I eat out all over the country, I have never been a fan of Applebee’s as it is usually sub par. However sometimes traveling by foot really limits you. I ordered wings and took them back to my hotel. The first bite was the pictures below. This is unacceptable and so dangerous. The manager refunded my money. But I caution everyone to not eat here for the sake of your health.

I had the Southwest steak bowl. It was ok, just didn't have much steak. Another member of our party had chicken strips that tasted like fish. I'm assuming they cook chicken strips in same oil as the fish. Saucers we were given for our appetizers were not completely clean. Looked as though a couple of plates still had BBQ or steak sauce on it. Needless to say we didn't use them. Our waiter was nice & attentive but it took him a while to come back with our to go cups. Maybe we went on an off night but we probably will not be back.

Passing through hoping to get a good meal in, and we were disappointed. My kids wouldn't touch the fries because they were so salty. My husband ordered a drink from the bar and it was terrible, not to mention it didn't arrive until the food did. I asked for someone to check the status of the margarita and was told the waiters were also bartenders and so it could take some time, however we watched the bartender the whole time and she was on her phone. The bartender also kept going back to the kitchen and she almost ran into myself, my son and my husband (all at separate times) and there was no apology. The food was just okay. I ordered sweet tea twice and got u sweet both times. Our waiter was Walter, and he was polite and friendly.

Went to the location yesterday to celebrate a graduation. Overall, the service was fine. However, was disappointed with my receipt. I was charged for a game I did not order, someone else did. My meal came up to $34.50. I showed my military i.d. to get my discount of 10%. The waitress came back with a new receipt showing the discount as 1.50. The discount should have been $3.45. I just went ahead and paid it and left. Hard to go to a place where the ticket gets mixed up, wrong charges are added, and the MILITARY discount is calculated incorrectly.
