Barrel House

Pretty cool place really. Sorry I wasn't there during a Happy Hour or in the evening when it's probably more lively, but I was there to study and at the time was good for that. Decent, well-rounded beer selection and the burger was better than average (sorry no pics). Service was good, not overbearing, and everything was clean. Clean table, no streaks from using dirty rags, clean table setting, and clean glass. Bathrooms were clean as was the overall place. The crows nest above was enticing, but I didn't get a chance to check it out. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in town.

Went for a surprise birthday party. We were upstairs which was very nice. Our server was excellent for the amount of tables she took care of. The host provided the appetizers which were excellent. We ordered from the menu and I had chicken tenders and wife ordered the chicken avocados which were delicious. Wish they either had a chair lift or elevator for the older attendees to get upstairs.

3.5 stars. The service was great. The environment was great. The establishment is clean and visually appealing. Great beer selection and menu options. However we ordered 3 sandwiches. 2 of which were GRILLED CHEESE, the other also had cheese. The cheese was not melted yet the toast was burnt. Unacceptable. Sorry but it was GROSS. Since we were there for lunch and had a meeting, sending the food back was NOT an option. So we had to choke down burnt toast and warm cheese. The fries were great !

Very spacious and comfortable environment. A massive menu both for food and drinks. Service was very quick and good. From Salads to Boar Burgers, there is something for everyone and the food was very good. Update: In my last few visits I have had poor experiences, coincidentally with the same dyed red haired waitress. On two occasions I had other tables food put on my bill while only having a beer myself. Once okay, but twice? In my last experience, lunch took over an hour. Ordered simple appetizer (dip) because we were starving, but it came out with the food almost an hour later. The last 3 visits weren't right, I don't know what's going on with this waitress but despite living in downtown Moline, I don't think we'll be back.
