Very welcoming atmosphere with delicious food including an incredible vegetable soup! A nice healthy meal that won't break the bank. Excellent, friendly, kind customer service and wait staff. Very attentive and quick to assist when needed. Refills promptly offered and to go boxes given upon request. Will definitely return next time we are in Modesto for dinner time.

I was surprised that I liked the food better than I expected. I enjoyed the Thai salad. The peanut dressing was too spicy for me and the waitress said they had recently changed it and others have commented the same. I just switched to Italian dressing. I loved the breaded chicken on my salad. The food was served quickly but I did have to go find help when I wanted the different dressing.

Always a fav. Nice folks and good service . It’s nice to be back. As always post wherever your palate takes you or back to. Update: saw this this morning for todays special’ Homemade corn beef hash. I must try. It was okay, but in comparison to Black bear hash, it was definitely not as great as Bear. As always, post whatever your palate takes you.

My mom ordered a omelette and hash browns, the hash browns were burnt (they were literally dark brown). The waitress did bring her more that weren't burnt and didn't take the burnt ones away.. tacky. I ordered avocado for my club sandwich, didn't get it till 15 minutes after my meal. My dad ordered house fries and those were burnt.. he sent it back and decided not to even eat. We had coffee and only got a refill once. Who ever their cook is.. he needs to be fired and replaced with someone who actually knows how to cook! NOT acceptable!

I have food allergies and the waitress was rude about it. She wasn't willing to accommodate to them or help me out, so in the end I was unable to even eat at the restaurant. I've eaten here fine before with a different waitress who was really nice but this lady should be fired and shouldn't be working around people. She's was rude and didn't even apologise to us, she just used the restaurant being busy as an excuse. It's illegal for restaurants to not accommodate to allergies when someone has them and to not take them seriously. We just walked out in the end.

Perko's is a place like back in the day, coming home to your grandma meal.The waitress Katie made my family feel like we were right at home. We had shrimps with seasoned fries for one meal, turkey and stuffing with a baked potato , fresh fruit. And the other meal we had a buffalo wrap that was spicy but good.
